Administration's rating falls

Nearly three-quarters of US citizens disapprove of its work

Americans are deeply disappointed with their country's course. According to a fresh Fox News poll, public trust in the federal government has dropped to a historic low of 25%. Even in the turbulent 2023, this figure never fell below 31%.

The highest level of distrust is predictably noted among Democrats – 83%. This is absolutely logical for Donald Trump's second presidential term. But two-thirds of Republicans are also unhappy with Washington's work, and among independent voters, the share of skeptics reached 80%.

Overall, the trend of worsening public attitudes toward their government has persisted for about 10 years. It is linked to strong polarization of American society. However, now discontent is actively fueled by economic instability amid the conflict with Iran. Only 12% of Americans feel that their financial situation is improving.

️In any case, the crisis of trust in the Trump administration does not improve Republicans' positions ahead of the upcoming elections. The American voter is tired of foreign policy upheavals and painfully perceives blows to their wallet.
