Furry Empire Wiki is a FANDOM Games Community.
The latexes are a race of semi-parasitic creatures made of a semi-liquid substance that resembles latex (or rubber).

they were created by The Furry Empire in an effort to phase out using humans and sub-furs as cannon fodder or slaves, as a latex never complains about pain or questions orders, as (most of the time) the conversion process wipes their memory, taking their free will with it.

There are two main Subspecies of the Latexes, being Dark latexes and Light Latexes.

They reproduce through a process called "Transfurrmation", where a Gamer, Furries- actually nearly everything that's organic and not a Protogen are exposed to latex, which then converts the Host's cells, said cells undergo mitosis, this process repeats until the host is fully transfurred, or the host dies for some reason.

(NOTE: due to the method that latexes are created, it is possible for entire types of latexes to be completely female)

the most common and basic kind of latex, immune to ballistic damage (I.E getting shot), blunt damage (melee attacks by a hammer/fist/stock of a firearm) and penetrating damage (getting stabbed) however, they are extremely weak to fire, burning to death when caught on fire. entering water will cause a white latex to dissolve.

the second most common type of latex, used by the Furry empire as soldiers/labor, able to work in certain conditions that would kill a human that does not include extreme heat. they also possess the needed knowledge of using firearms, tools and certain melee weapons.

the third most common type of latex, they are extremely weak to ballistic damage, blunt damage and penetrating damage to the mask area, whereas setting them on fire temporarily Vulcanizes them, increasing the amount of blunt impact damage they can do and being struck by a flaming Dark latex will (quite obviously) cause burns or possibly the fire spreading.

slightly rarer than white latexes and general use latexes are the Aquatic latexes, which although being sluggish on land, are extremely fast underwater.

Crystal wolf (technically a Dark latex sub-race)

Crystal wolves are, in fact technically not made of latex, but are much closer to sub-furs, however, they are extremely aggressive, being scratched or bitten by one will result in a transfur and if they don't transfur, they kill for food, as a result, they are the only type of latex that needs to eat/drink to survive.

the Gray latex are used as commanders of latex groups, possessing psionic powers, ranging from mind reading and control to manipulating and moving objects with naught but a thought, they are also the only type of latex to have free will, to help influence creation of strategies.

Latexlugas are specialized "mutations" of certain latexes, possessing increased strength, which allows them to operate heavy weapons, such as a Minigun.

Latex Overlords are the highest "ranking" latex, commanding the Grey latexes, possessing powers that, although less potent than those of a Gray latex, are still not to be underestimated, because if a human (or Sub-fur, or furry that isn't a protogen) is within 30 meters and in sight of a Overlord, the Overlord is capable of transfurring them right then and there.
