GUESS WHERE WE’RE OFF TO. That’s right, in six hours we’ll be getting off. So hard.

NORWEGIANS ARE FLUENT ENOUGH IN ENGLISH TO MAKE BAD BEAVER JOKES!!!
Which means they can hopefully appreciate what happens weekdaily on this blog. What champs these Oslosians are! My fur burger swells with pride and arousal at the chance to be in their naughty, naughty company.
Also, did you know the Oslo Opera House doubles as the best workout joint in Europe? True story! Work them glutes during intermission. Operaerobics.
We’re getting toward the end of our Oslo adventures, which means that the Fur Burger- stimulating city of Stockholm, Sweden starts on Monday! It was the joyous climax of our trip for my bidniz friend! Now enjoy/tolerate the rest of the week, where I disjointedly try to share the rest of the photos that passed the webpublish test! :P
Now, I remember - at some point long ago - looking up stories and information and stuff of legend on troll and Scandinavia. Now, I can’t remember verbatim what I read, but it was something like: Scandinavians love them some goofy/frightening/fuglyass trolls. Why a tall, thin, blond, creamy-skinned bunch of Norwegian people would have to surround themselves with these funky little guys is beyond my fur burger… however, my fur burger is frazzled and goofy and not the best-looking in the world, so she found trolls to be delightful company! :D
In other Scandinavian adventures, my fur burger and I exercised our muscles a whole lot (which enhances her pleasure-gettin’ in a variety of ways, letmetellya) continuing our all-walking tour of Oslo. We found a lovely place for lunch on the way, overlooking a beautiful brick road, stylized sculpture, and some spring trees just beginning their blossomy awakening.
Later, and far less light-hearted, we happened across a wall of wooden planks with roses and letters stuck everywhere throughout the walking side. We were at the site of one of the 2011 Norway attacks . This was a few months before the first anniversary, when people showered the area in tons of flowers, candles, and Norwegian flags.
TODAY, VOTE LIKE YOUR FUR BURGER DEPENDS ON IT!!!
Wait, no, I can do better, albeit more political:
Everybody go do your civic duty and whatnot! And don’t forget that we’re all human beings, even though we will all certainly forget that at some point today. ;)
Poopsticles, we forgot the Oslo Museum of Cultural History (read: shenanigans with shemannequins)! While some of the visuals were a bit funky/eclectic, there was a lot of good information on a country whose culture extends much further than our hormonal teenager of a nation.
I mean, we are pretty immature (read: origin of my fur burger).
The museum was also across the street from the Royal Palace, where we took a stroll and my fur burger was tickled to see an actual guard standing stoically in a little guardhut! She’s apparently a sucker for a man in uniform! ;)
Well, I mean, we might as well include include the carrot cake as well. You can plainly see why.
Norwegians are superstars of staying warm in a colder climate. You’d think the opposite considering their fine, blond hairs, but my fur burger’s dark fuzzies could bare-ly (bwahaha) keep up the insulation required. Kidding, it was actually quite lovely. A bit chilly, but outdoor seating was ever-present. The Norwegians just put out lap blankets for everyone to enjoy, which is actually GENIUS. Add some hot tea or coffee, and it doesn’t matter what kind of hairs you got sticking out. Of your hat . Yeah.
It’s the return of Fur Burger, who’s always got some extra “sweetness” to share! Yeah, we’re back in Oslo, Norway, but about to move on to Stockholm, Sweden!
One of the last pursuits of this traveling cuntpanion was seeking out proper Norway fare. We never got the whale, but checkalooksie at this cake! It was the best cake ever.
No, seriously, this cake is the Verdens Beste (World’s Best in English, also known as Kvæfjords kake). At first, you might think “Who do these Norwegians think they are, having such a pretentious national cake?” But, seriously, it is pretty freaking delicious. Sponge cake, meringue top, almonds, creamy filling and delightful berries! Enough to light up any cloudy, drizzly Oslo afternoon before a six hour train ride!
According to Google translate: “Earn money on the people!”
Also, my fur burger, so you don’t forget what you should always be thinking about when we aren’t in the middle of some of Oslo’s wall findings.
