Fungram is an unofficial Telegram client built using Telegram’s open-source API and complies with Telegram’s Terms of Service.

Fungram does not collect, store, or share any personal information on its own servers.

All user data (such as chats, media, contacts, and account information) is managed directly by Telegram’s official infrastructure via their secure API.

Fungram only accesses and displays your Telegram data locally on your device to enable the app’s features — it never uploads or sends your information to any third-party server.

2. Permissions Used

To provide its core functionality, Fungram may request the following permissions:

Network Access (INTERNET):

Required to connect to Telegram servers.

Storage or Media Access:

Used to read and display photos, videos, and files sent or received in Telegram chats.

Fungram does not upload or analyze your media content.

If your device runs Android 13 (API 33) or later, Fungram may use:

- READ_MEDIA_IMAGES

- READ_MEDIA_VIDEO

These are used only to display your Telegram chat media.

If you use the built-in Android Photo Picker, the app accesses only the files you select.

Notifications Permission:

Used to show message notifications.

Contacts Permission (optional):

Used to match your Telegram contacts for easier communication.

3. Data Storage

All data is stored locally on your device and handled securely by the official Telegram API.

Fungram does not maintain any remote database or server that stores user information.

4. Third-Party Access

Fungram does not share or sell your personal data to any third parties.

All data processing and encryption are managed by Telegram’s infrastructure.

5. Security

Fungram follows Telegram’s security model — all messages and media are encrypted according to Telegram’s MTProto protocol.

We never modify or intercept Telegram’s encryption or data flow.

6. Children’s Privacy

Fungram is not intended for users under 13 years of age.

If you are under 13, please do not use this application without parental supervision.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

Any significant changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above.
