Cuban Heel Fully Fashioned Stockings were made in the 1950s using the same vintage Reading knitting machines that were used to make these glamorous seamed nylons, that recreate a truly authentic vintage look and feel.
The Cuban Heel itself is a reinforced darker narrow rectangle at the end which does not taper into a point, unlike the French heel.
Each pair of stockings has been sewn together individually at the back and has a keyhole (finishing loop) at the top of the stocking welt. The double thickness welt is best paired with garters that have at least six straps, to keep the stockings looking their best.
Authentic Fully Fashioned stockings are made from 15 denier nylon and do not stretch, so please choose your size carefully. There are available from an extra small to a tall size, so you can get a perfect fit.

Standard USA shipping is $8.00. Delivery times within the USA are usually 4 to 9 days. Orders received before 12pm EDT are usually shipped the next working day. Please select the Expedited service should you not be able to accept potential delays.
Expedited Standard USA shipping is $12.00. Delivery times within the USA are usually 1 to 4 days. Orders received before 12pm EDT are usually shipped the same day.
Overnight shipping (next day) is charged at $30.00 per order and is operated by UPS. Please note that the cutoff time for next day delivery is 12pm EDT. Deliveries are not made on Saturday or Sunday.

Overnight services cannot delivered to P.O Box's.
Untracked USA shipping is $3.99 and is only available on certain low value items. Delivery times within the USA are usually 4 to 10 days. Orders received before 12pm EDT are usually shipped the next working day.
Third Party Shipping charges are added to an order when there is an item that is not shipped from the New Jersey warehouse, but a different location. This very rarely happens.
Standard shipping is $30.00 per order. Delivery times to Latin America are usually 7-30 days if we have your required size, colour and style in stock.
All import duties and tax's are the responsibility of the customer.

Take it home and try it on for size! We cover shipping back to you on your first exchange and offer a no nonsense 30 day return / exchange period.
All items must be returned in new condition. Please do not remove the tags! Do not send any items back without a valid RMA.
In compliance with local legislation and for hygiene reasons we do not accept returns on knickers, panties, hosiery or face masks. There are no exceptions to this rule. Damaged or dirty items may be subjected to a 25% restocking fee.

What are Cuban Heel Fully Fashioned Stockings? The heel type refers to the way the heel is finished at the top of your ankle. In the case of Cuban Heel stockings this means that it takes the form of a long rectangle shape that is squared off at the top.
Cuban Heels give an authentic 1940s look. Point heels didn’t become popular until the early 1950s when they became the favourite of Parisian couture houses. The Cuban Heel would still have been worn throughout the 1950s and 1960s, especially in the USA. It’s by far our most popular heel type.
These glamorous seamed stockings are made on the same vintage Reading knitting machines that have been hard at work since the 1950s.
Our genuine Fully Fashioned Stockings on vintage Reading knitting machines. They feature a sewn seam, picot lines and finishing loop (or keyhole).
These stockings are made to fit the average dress size UK 12 to 16, US 8-12 person, (40-44 European). The maximum thigh size that they will comfortably fit is 25" (63.5cm) .
Unfortunately with only a handful of machines still running in the world, all going at top speed already, there simply isn't the capacity at the moment to develop a size for a larger leg which isn't very satisfactory but is beyond our control.
If you are very slender, and at the bottom height of 'your' size then you can size down.
Our fully fashioned point heel stockings are made from sheer 15 denier non stretch nylon although the nylon does have a little mechanical stretch.
We recommend wearing gloves when putting on and removing these nylons as they are extremely delicate.
Our Cuban Heel Fully Fashioned Stockings are made in Derbyshire in the UK.

Fully Fashioned or FF stockings that are knitted flat on vintage equipment made of non-stretch 100% nylon yarn, then sewn up the back with a genuine seam and finishing loop with eye catching keyhole at the back of the welt. Genuine fully fashioned stockings are now very rare but much sought after. They're still made by Gio, Cervin in our collections.
