Location - remote or office (Lviv or Kyiv)

About the project: 

Project is a social media engagement based loyalty program. It allows brands to turn their community into ambassadors by rewarding them when they engage with social media content. Through the platform, brands increase organic reach without spending huge ad budget and receive a lot of data about the engagement behaviour from their community.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience in Ruby Development
• Strong experience with Ruby on Rails (4+) framework
• Experience in writing JavaScript applications using a modern client-side framework (Angular.js / React.js / Vue.js)
• Hands-on experience with HTML and CSS
• Upper-Intermediate level of English
• Experience in relational databases like PostgreSQL
• Experience with Sidekiq or Resque or similar
• Basic knowledge of Linux server administration
• Ready to follow community coding principles and understand SOLID
• Work commitment within Agile/Scrum methodologies and teamwork

Be a plus:

• Facebook API
• Experience with AWS(ECS, fargate)
• Security configuration

Responsibilities:

• Work closely together with business, design and other stakeholders of the project
• Write robust manageable code
• Implement custom UI components on the frontend from the scratch
• Bugs fixing
• Write tests
• Perform software deployment
• Use JIRA bug-tracking system
• Love to research new technologies and best practices to improve the project
