Full Stack Engineer CMS Magnolia Veeva AWS AI Pharmaceutical
Digital nomads. Work from anywhereCompany: Viper Search
Senior Full Stack Engineer, Applied AI
We build and run websites,
platforms and AI tools for pharma and life sciences brands, with teams in the US, Europe, the
Philippines and New Zealand.
You will join a project team as a senior engineer and grow into its technical lead: owning the
roadmap and the solution, setting the architecture, guiding the developers, and owning delivery
and success. As you grow, you'll take on technical direction across different client projects, from
enterprise CMS platforms to web apps and AI builds for pharma and life sciences brands. You'll
stay hands-on in the code throughout.
● Own outcomes, not just code: architecture, quality, delivery, and whether it actually solves
the client's problem.
● Own the roadmap and solution design: decide with the client and our team what gets built,
in what order, and why
● Mentor developers and review their work
● Build with TypeScript, Node.js and React across APIs, integrations and web apps
● Integrate with enterprise systems, including content management systems (Magnolia) and
pharma review platforms (Veeva)
● Design and run services on AWS
● Build AI-first: use agents like Claude Code to do the heavy lifting, and review their output
as carefully as a teammate.
● Turn client and product needs into technical plans and working demos
● Own production support: monitoring, incident response and root-cause fixes
● Work directly with clients and internal stakeholders, in plain language
● 5+ years of full-stack development, including leading technical work on a project or
mentoring other developers
● Strong TypeScript and Node.js
● React or a comparable modern front-end framework
● Hands-on AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, RDS or similar)
● Relational databases (PostgreSQL or MySQL)
● REST API design, CI/CD and security best practices
● Real experience building with AI: coding assistants in your daily workflow, and ideally LLM
features in production (prompting, context engineering, RAG or agents)
Nice to have
● Experience in a regulated industry (pharma, healthcare, finance)
● Enterprise CMS experience (Magnolia, Sitecore, AEM or similar)
● Java / Spring Boot
● Infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation) and Docker
