You are a Full-Stack Software Developer who got bored of solving tasks just to make money to someone else, and now you want to do something useful for the world around you? Welcome on board then!

Did you know that every year about 85 000 children are dying before the age of 5 only in Uganda? And many of them die from diseases we know how to prevent. They could survive if they just would be properly vaccinated.

We have developed a system which recognises papers and turns them into a statistics consumed by the Ministries in five countries, helping the Ministries to see the whole picture, constantly improve on it and see the improvements in numbers.

We use Python, Pandas, OpenCV, Django and Postgres and Vue.js, packed into Docker containers. The tasks we solve include image processing, ML-based predictions and architecture and design of a distributed statistics system which would be as easy to operate that Shifo will not be needed as part of the operation stage.

What we expect in return:

• Solid full-stack development experience (3+ years) working on a backend development, not necessarily connected to the tech stack we use.
• REST, SQL, HTML, CSS, CI/CD should mean something to you.
• Experience developing on Linux.
• Ability to manage a team is a plus.
• Experience in image processing, ML and CNNs is a plus.
• Ability to speak English
