Unwired Networks creates WiFi hotspots that offer high quality at an affordable cost. We provide a SaaS system which is simple to use but yet offers powerful features that are not available anywhere else. Position

As a front-end developer you will be working on the Unwired WiFi Cloud (Network Management System). Our WiFi Cloud integrates hardware with comprehensive features ranging from captive portals to deep analytics. In its newest release, which is currently in the making it will also expand to mobile devices. You will be working within the DevOps team, which is both responsible for developing our system as well as keeping it running. We value high quality work and automate wherever possible to focus on the more interesting and challenging work. The position is open to candidates world wide. While we prefer a candidate located in Vienna we are open to other arrangements. Assistance for relocation is available and we will help with a smooth transition.

Your qualification

You have extensive working experience in front-end development, and know your way around at least Angular

Preferably your are also already well equipped in React and React Native

You are able to bring an idea to production, involving all steps from design, user tests, to writing the actual code

You can make well-founded decisions on UI/UX, you base these decisions on quantitative and qualitative research

Your code is always under version control (we use Git)

You know your way around Linux and how to work on the command-line

Knowing how to use Docker and Kubernetes helps

Know Cloud vendors such as AWS and Google and what they have to offer

Good written and oral communication skills in English

Will be a plus

Experience in Python

Experience with Big Data analytics (Hadoop, BigQuery, etc.)

If you speak German that is considered a plus

Basic knowledge of networking and embedded systems is a nice to have
