Virgil is a tech-forward provider of adult behavioral therapy across the United States. 

What You’ll Do

- As a part of our team, you will be building new technology and product that will ultimately be used by millions of people every day, making real an impact on their lives

- You’ll develop end-to-end user interfaces that help patients receive top-notch therapy

- Uphold standards for quality by performing code reviews, fixing bugs, creating automated tests, and monitoring performance

- Work closely with other engineers, product managers, and designers to collaborate on the features that will help our users 

- Support uptime through participation in engineering on-call rotations

What You’ll Need

- Proficiency in NodeJS. Understand how it works and how it can be used with client applications

- Experience with TypeScript/JavaScript or React

- You have software development experience in TDD techniques

- Being acclimated to agile methodologies

- Experience building APIs and associated authentication mechanisms

- You’re proactive about asking questions and challenging feature ideas and have a desire to always ensure we’re building the right solutions (and are vocal about ensuring we do)

We don’t expect complex algorithms. This is not crucial if you don't use TypeScript, or React but on this side, you are ready to learn and spend some free time to get up to speed.

Conditions 

- 100% remote work

- The work schedule is flexible, nevertheless, as a team, we need to meet at 1 - 5 PM UTC, every day

- No legacy code
