Our client is a well-known tech-enabled home improvement provider with a fast-growing and diverse team spread across the world (USA, Europe) that delivers cutting edge technology in the construction industry. This is a direct hire, fully remote position with great benefits and stock options. Middle and higher levels only.
Requirements:
- Good understanding and commercial experience with React JS framework
- 3+ years of experience in developing web applications using Javascript & TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3
- Experience with REST frameworks
- Strong computer science fundamentals
- Should be able to be available during the morning Pacific Time (6am-10am)
- Willingness and ability to learn new things quickly
- Good oral and written English is a must
Good to have:
- Good understanding of SOLID principles and Design Patterns
- Experience with Webpack, Jest, Nodejs, Threejs
- Experience with Scrum or other agile development processes in a distributed team
Responsibilities:
- Development of front-end logic and UI elements and components, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests and responsive and friendly UI.
- Implementing Unit and Functional tests.
- Keep code integrity and organisation, maintain quality standards, and decent test coverage.
- Provide mentoring to peers and junior colleagues.
