Nude It, approved by Apple Tuesday, is an augmented reality app that uses scanning technology to look straight through clothing. Something you have always wanted to do.
People need many things right now, but surely nothing more than the ability to spontaneously see through the clothing of another.
You know this is true. So do the other-oriented folks at Presselite . For they want you to share their pride in an application creation called Nude It , which was approved by the Apple store Komsomol Tuesday.
Antoine Morcos, co-founder of Presselite, admitted in a press release that the creators' inspiration in the development of this astounding technology came from the WhoIsTheBaldGuyBlog . I have embedded a YouTube video in order to give you some relief from feeling that you inhabit a strange planet called Nexus One.
In essence, the pleasure you will get from Nude It may well rival what you felt when you were 7 and took a gullible elementary school pupil into the restroom, placed their head in the toilet bowl, and asked them if they've ever seen the blue goldfish.
I can sense your cheeks twitching with anticipation as to how one might use the Nude It app. Well, the instructions tell me that you point your iPhone at a friend, or someone who is about to be a former friend, from a distance of less than 6.5 feet.
The scanning technology will then reveal to you every last mole on your victim's ribcage, as well as every last goose bump of their excitement.
The makers do warn that you should clearly see your subject's face on the screen before you activate their embarrassment.
I am concerned, though, by the images that Presselite has included as an example. You see, they show that Nude It merely reveals people in their underpants. The general method males use for this purpose is to find a lady friend with whom they can wander into any of the increasingly liberal changing rooms of our major retail stores.
Still, I know many of you will be rushing to experience this new tool and that several of you will soon have pressing appointments with your Human Resources department.

Over the weekend, Courteney Cox and Lisa Kudrow delighted Friends fans when their shared snaps from their girls' night with co-star Jennifer Aniston. In the images, the sitcom stars appear makeup-free, with Cox wearing large round glasses.
"Halfway there... #girlsnight #?" Kudrow, 55, captioned a selfie of the beloved sitcom trio. The message quickly led fans to speculate as to whether she was teasing a full Friends reunion.
Cox's pics of the ladies was a lot more candid and up close. "Trying to figure out what to say on Instagram....#gotnothing #friends #girlsnight," the 55-year-old actress captioned the photo.
The Friends reunion caught the attention of another sitcom star, Will and Grace 's Megan Mullally, who commented on Kudrow's pic, writing: "You guys look kewt ???."
As for whether these three will ever return to Central Perk, Aniston recently shared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show that all her Friends co-stars -- Cox, Kudrow, David Schwimmer, Matthew Perry and Matt LeBlanc -- are down for a reboot.
"I told you this, I would do it," the 50-year-old actress told DeGeneres. "The girls would do it, and the boys would do it, I'm sure. Listen, anything can happen."

The most mortifying moment of many kids’ lives is when they have to change (read: get naked) in front of other students for the first time. Or maybe I’m just speaking from personal experience, when the exhilaration of a friendly game of wall ball during gym was undercut by needing to put on non-sweaty clothing. There’s an entire episode of Freaks and Geeks about how embarrassing it is, although I wouldn’t recommend Sam’s streaking plan .
Once you get older, though, getting naked in front of your friends tends to get easier, or at least it does for the women in the video above, who saw each other sans clothes for the first time. They’re all extremely complimentary to each other: Great boobs, great butt, great hips, great… nipples? And hey, now they can check each other for skin cancer. What a time saver.
Watching this video is like spending time with Taylor Swift and her oft-nude #squad. Okay, it’s only Lena Dunham taking her clothes off, but still.

Los Angeles-based photographer Amanda Charchian is changing the way we capture nude women on camera. Her first photo collection, ** titled Pheromone Hotbox, comes out March 22, and the hardcover book features photographs she took between 2012 and 2015 of nude women in exotic locations across the globe, including Iceland, Costa Rica, Morocco, and Cuba. The women in the photos are all artists—ranging from fashion designers to poets—and friends of Charchian, posing in their most natural state. Charchian's goal in her snaps: Not to sexualize these women, but empower them, and show how both the Earth and our bodies are natural wonders.
"I don’t think anybody's looked at the pictures and been like, 'Damn, that’s real hot.' There’s body hair, there’s no makeup, there’s no lighting—it’s so raw," Charchian tells SELF.
The fashion photographer says she could have shot the same photographs with clothing, but, by freeing the women of their clothes, it liberated them in a new way.
"Being comfortable with your body and celebrating your body is a road to confidence," she says. "And being nude makes you feel more confident sometimes because you don’t have to fit into clothes that were made for someone who’s a size zero. If you’re outside of that context, your body is a lot more beautiful."
When Charchian tried to share the stunning images online, followers have flagged some of her pictures as inappropriate. She tells SELF that some of her pictures have been reported and removed from Instagram, even when she has covered up exposed nipples.
"I hope social media takes more consideration in the future about letting art be art and keeping a positive image of nudes," she says.
