After a relaxing morning, you will be transferred from your hotel to Split harbor to board the MV Futura (or similar). After you settle into your cabin, enjoy a guided walking tour of the city, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Discover magnificent ancient Roman architecture, including the impressive Diocletian Palace. Return to the ship. This evening, enjoy a welcome reception and cocktail with your fellow cruising companions. Overnight in Split harbor.
Early this morning, sail towards Korčula, an island known as the birthplace of Marco Polo. Stop for lunch en-route in one of the many secluded bays. In the early afternoon, dock in Korčula and disembark for a guided walking tour of this enchanting town. As you wander through the herringbone patterned stone streets, learn about the many monuments and legends that are more abundant here than anywhere else in Croatia. Spend the remainder of the day and evening at leisure to explore the many choices of dining and entertainment that Korčula has to offer. Overnight docked in Korčula.
Katarina Line Deluxe Ships Breakfast, lunch & dinner
This morning continue south from Korčula to the Island of Mljet. Join your cruise manager for an easy hike to the famous salt lakes of the Mljet National Park. Enjoy a boat ride to St. Mary Isle, site of an ancient Benedictine monastery and abbey dating back to the 12th century. If you prefer to explore on your own, you may rent bicycles, kayaks, scooters, and even a convertible car to roam the park independently. Afterward, return to the ship for lunch and depart for Dubrovnik, arriving in the late afternoon.
Before docking in Gruž harbor, the captain will take you on an evening cruise along the Old City walls where you will enjoy spectacular views of Dubrovnik while a dinner is served on deck. Overnight docked in Dubrovnik.
After breakfast, transfer by bus to Dubrovnik’s Old Town for a guided walking tour of the walled city. Enjoy the splendor of this magical city from a cable car as you gently ascend Srđ Mountain, taking in the scenic views of Dubrovnik and the Elaphiti Islands. The remainder of the afternoon is at leisure. Perhaps search for the perfect restaurant for lunch or dinner. We recommend that you walk along the Stradun – previously a street and a square, today a promenade inside the city walls. Return to the ship independently. Overnight docked in Dubrovnik.
Katarina Line Deluxe Ships Breakfast, lunch & dinner
This morning, sail towards the quaint seaside village of Trstenik, located on the Pelješac Peninsula and known for excellent wine, stopping en-route at the Elaphiti Islands. This afternoon, transfer inland to the rural village of Kuna for a walking tour, stopping at the local church and monastery, followed by a visit to a local farm. Later, you will have the opportunity to taste Croatian delicacies, traditional dishes, made with locally sourced ingredients, at a typical village party. After dinner, return to the ship. Overnight docked in Trstenik.
This morning sail to the jet-set island of Hvar, stopping for lunch on the small island of Šćedro. Later, stop at the Pakleni Islands for a refreshing swim.
In the afternoon, arrive at the sun splashed island of Hvar, the longest island in the Adriatic Sea, and renowned for its aromatic fields of lavender and breathtaking beauty. There will be a short presentation of lavender products followed by a walking tour of the town. See the historic buildings such as the Renaissance cathedral with its original tower still standing, and the oldest community theater in Europe, founded in 1612. Later, hike up to the town fort, overlooking the harbor to capture scenic views of your ship and the Pakleni Islands. If you have a taste for nightlife, Hvar features an abundance of entertainment, restaurants, bars, and cafés that remain open long into the night. Overnight docked in Hvar.
Katarina Line Deluxe Ships Breakfast, lunch & dinner
Depart Hvar for your final port of call, the Island of Brac and the picturesque town of Bol. Spend the day at leisure walking along the promenade or swimming at Zlatni Rat, one of the most famous beaches in Dalmatia. Also known as the Golden Cape, Zlatni Rat is distinguished by its gravel promontory that constantly shifts from side to side as the force from the wind and waves relentlessly alter its shape.
After lunch on board, spend the afternoon at leisure in Bol, a typical fisherman’s village revitalized as a popular vacation destination. Later, enjoy a wine tasting at one of the oldest Dalmatia wine cooperatives dating to 1903. Spend your final evening on board at the captain’s farewell dinner with entertainment. Overnight docked in Bol or nearby Milna.
Note: Due to specific mooring conditions and requirements in some Croatian ports, Katarina Line ships are moored side-by-side, making it necessary for the clients to cross from one ship to another with gaps in between ships in order to get to the shore. In such cases clients need to take special care when crossing and do this at their own risk. Crew assistance will be given to those needing or requesting it.
Take advantage of your already-included international airfare and spend three more exciting days in Croatia. You will leave the USA 2 days earlier than the dates listed on the Dates & Prices tab. You will join the main tour on Day 2 of the above itinerary.

Day 4 Zagreb, Plitvice Lakes, & Split
This morning depart for Croatia’s oldest and most beautiful national park, the Plitvice Lakes. Enjoy an unforgettable hike through the park, consisting of 16 lakes interconnected by a series of waterfalls. Then take a boat ride over the emerald green Kozjak Lake. We recommend a good pair of walking shoes for your approximately 3 hour hike. Later, drive to Split and check-in at your hotel. You will join the main tour on Day 2 of the above itinerary.
The Hotel Cornaro offers an excellent city central location, with ancient historical surroundings. Combining elegant décor with comfort, the Hotel Cornaro demonstrates the utmost in dedication to guests.
