Job Description
We are looking for freelance webtoon comics typesetters who can edit and typeset webtoon images using Photoshop.
Responsibilities
* Edit and rearrange vertical-scroll webtoon images into horizontal comic/page formats
* Adjust panel layout, margins, image size, and overall page composition
* Insert translated text into speech bubbles, captions, and sound effects
* Adjust fonts, line spacing, alignment, and text layout for readability
* Edit speech bubbles, sound effects, or background elements when needed
* Communicate with editors and translators regarding assigned tasks
Requirements
* Basic Photoshop skills
* Understanding of comics/webtoon panel layout and visual flow, or willingness to learn
* Ability to follow provided guidelines carefully
* Ability to communicate in basic English via email or online work tools
* Ability to meet deadlines and respond in a timely manner
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in webtoon typesetting, comics editing, illustration, or graphic design
* Experience rearranging panels or editing comic page layouts
* Experience with speech bubbles, sound effects, and font adjustments
* Experience with Japanese typesetting or vertical text layout
* Portfolio or work samples related to webtoons, comics, or graphic design
Work Conditions
