These are not megavitamins containing 10 times the amount of things one actually needs, most of which just gets flushed away in urine anyway. Therefore, they also are not big, hard-to-swallow horse pills. Freedavite multivitamins provide no more than 100% of what our bodies need, so they also are very small, easy-to-swallow pills. I've been taking them for many years and remain satisfied.
I’ve been using these vitamins for years. Freedavite has been a well-known, highly respective kosher supplement source among health conscious Jews for generations. What I like about these is that they provide all that I need nutritionally in a small tablet that I only need to take once a day, How can vitamins get better than this? I ordered some recently but they’re gone! I told too many family members about them!
I have checked several brands of vitamins in several local retailers and also online. My experience has been that most multivitamins are overloaded / supercharged / excessively packed with 400%-1000% of the daily value. Not only is this a health concern but I never liked the physical and mental effects of the supercharge. It's ridiculous competive marketing more than anything else. Enter Freeda Multivite. 100% DV maximum (some less). The old school style vitamin, which is very hard to find these days. Small pill. Not a bad smell, smells similar to children's chewable vitamins from the early 1980's (no idea what they smell like now). A bargain also, 250 in a single bottle. No artificial colors, flavors, no animal derivatives, and all that. The physical and mental effects for me, are just about perfect, not too much. No negative effects noted (dont make me sleepy or over energetic etc) No complaints. My last 100% DV Multi was discontinued , then I found Freeda, I hope they stay in business..
Our dentist advised us not to give our kids gummy vitamins, which is unquestionably good advice. But it raises the problem of what to use instead. Almost all regular vitamins are HUGE for kids to swallow. These are easily manageable--smaller than an ibuprofen. They're not overloaded with 1000% of anything, but they check the box of essential vitamins. I hope they keep making these.
These are good vitamins, but for ease of consumption I grind them up with a mortar & pestle. The tab looks small but it is thick and I found it awkward to swallow!
I got this for my daughter because she has trouble swallowing larger pills. It works great for that and she says she feels better too. It's a very simple multi and sometimes simple is best.
I take a lot of pills every day and I really appreciate an easier to swallow version.
