Mario is hopping from one computer-generated world to another as he makes his official debut in Minecraft.
In a brand new update for the Wii U version of the blockbuster game, Mario, Luigi, Wario, Toad, Princess Peach and many more Super Mario Bros characters will be included in the game starting next Tuesday.
Most importantly, in these days of costly downloads, the colorful characters are free to download.

The Mario pack will bring more than characters to the pixelated world of Minecraft.
Players will also be able change the textures and items and fight more streamlined versions of Hammer Bros. and Dry Bones from the Mario world - played to the soothing sounds of classic music from Super Mario 64.
Fans will be able to create their own places by using Mario-themed Minecraft blocks. Then, they can explore new worlds by using classic characters from one of history's most popular games (albeit slightly more sharp).
A disc-based Minecraft for Wii U version, including all Mario extras will be released in June.
Minecraft is the third-most-sold video game on the market, selling more than 70,000,000 copies sold.
