Statistically it seems like last season they might have played a more ambitious and open style than what I saw in their opening game at Viking but the low block they employed there might have been fixture-specific. Both teams showed early on that they had the offensive rather than the defensive in focus. Therefore, the game waved wonderfully back and forth from the first kick on the ball. After the score, Viking had some dangers that the Brann defense cleared away, before the visitors put in a real final sprint in overtime. Then captain Sivert Heltne Nilsen also came very close to finding the back of the net when his header from close range hit the post. There has been drama, tough duels, a wonderful atmosphere, goals and several hits on the post in the first half. Hopefully it will be more of the same after the rest.
