A horrifying ordeal is coming to light after an incident involving a group of frat boys left one teen dead. After they took hazing to disturbing sexual levels, someone was forced to pay for their absolute moral depravity with their life.
Eighteen students who attend Penn State are currently in a lot of trouble after one of the boys trying to get into their fraternity turned up dead. According to The New York Times , 19-year-old sophomore Timothy Piazza died in February during the Beta Theta Pi fraternity’s “pledge night.”
Officials would later find out that after Timothy Piazza become drunk that night, he fell 15-feet down a flight of stairs. Rather than get him help, members of the fraternity simply let him lay on the floor until the morning, resulting in him dying at some point during the night. Unfortunately, that’s not all.
Sadly, an investigation into members of the fraternity itself has found that this was not an isolated incident of the frat boys’ moral decay, not by a long shot. In fact, Opposing Views reports that the organization has a long history of vile sexual hazing that only came into the spotlight when Piazza passed away.
Authorities were also recently able to learn of an instance where fraternity members forced hopeful frat brothers to perform what is known as the “Elephant Walk,” which involved grabbing penises and inserting thumbs into each other’s rectums. Unfortunately, it gets worse.
No Bullying explains that the “Elephant Walk” is “Often used for hazing where a group of guys form a straight line and grab the genitals of the guy in (the) back of them with one hand and put their thumb in the rectum of the guy in front of them, then they walk in a circle. Should that circle be broken by one of the members, the thumb which is placed in the rectum of the person ahead of them then goes into their mouths.”
The incident was exposed via text messages between Maddie Miller and Penn State Beta Theta Pi President Brendan Young, which read:
Miller: Take it out on the pledges
Young: Whip the d**k out?
Miller: If ever there was a time for an elephant walk it would be tn
Young: My least favorite part of pledging
Miller: Really? Sounds great to me
Young: You want in?

At this point, 18 students have been charged in the death of Piazza with 8 of them looking at involuntary manslaughter. As for the other 10, they’re facing lesser criminal charges, including hazing and providing minors with alcohol. However, it seems that the list is still growing to this day.
It’s horrifying to hear that human beings would do this to one another. Unfortunately, hazing rituals are plaguing both fraternities and sororities, and they only seem to be getting worse. As this proves, things are being taken to an entirely new level of absolute disgusting depravity. Humiliating people by violating their bodies doesn’t do anyone any good or prove any character that should warrant admission into their “elite” clubs.
Unfortunately, because these disgusting perverts couldn’t figure out that having an ounce of moral integrity is a quality they should be seeking rather than whatever is demonstrated by their sickening hazing, now an innocent boy is dead. Furthermore, 18 others are in prison simply because no one was brave enough to point out the obvious – that what they were doing was wrong.
However, since they all just went along with the abuse, there isn’t a single person out there who can say these punks aren’t exactly where they deserve to be. Life is precious. If you can’t treat it that way, then you’ll be locked in a cage to ensure that you don’t put anyone else in danger.

Interested in sharing stories about guys' experience with gang / communal showers -- either growing up, at summer camps, at the residential halls in college, in the military, in the frat house, etc. Also interested in mixing it up with information about the underwear scene, comfort with nudity thing, etc.
Here's three from me:
1. Played baseball through college and, of course, there were always gang showers for the athletes in both high school and college. In high school, six poles with four shower heads on each, and in college, eight poles with four shower heads on each. Went to college in the mid-1990s in the South, and so most dudes were still wearing white or colored briefs. Most dudes on the baseball team wore FTLs (blue and gold tracers) or Hanes (with the grey/grey/grey tracers), though you did see some Staffords, BVDs, and Jockeys too.
2. Freshman dorm where I lived also had communal showers, set up as four shower heads around the perimeter of a wall. There was a small changing room outside of it. Most dudes at the start of the year would walk to the showers in their briefs, or with a towel wrapped around their waist, then then hang up one or both items on a hook in the changing room before stepping into the shower area with their shower basket. About half the dudes would bring a fresh pair of underwear to step into after toweling off, and the other half would towel off and then walk back (typically with towel wrapped around waist) to their room. As the year progressed, and dudes relaxed, there was more walking to the showers in tighty whities or naked (with towel in hand or over shoulder).
3. Sophomore year I moved into my fraternity's house, which had four shower poles with four shower heads on each pole to service 64 dudes. Nudity and tighty whities were rampant in the house and, of course, the shower areas were sometimes disgusting. Tighty whities were the norm, though a few guys had a few pairs of boxer shorts. Boxer briefs were not on the scene yet.
Went to college gyms - had a sauna in the middle of two shower rooms. Good times. Would often wear briefs or towel and get hand jobs in the sauna area
I was so shy through high school and college that I was able to avoid all communal shower situations. Our high school had communal showers for after gym class, but our PE teacher didn’t enforce showers, so almost nobody took them.
I started to use, and enjoy, communal showers around 30 years old. I joined a gym and they had communal showers. My gym has the pole style and some on the wall.
Never had group showers until I joined the military and went to basic training. I went through Lackland in 2011 in the old dorms. The shower room had 8 shower heads, 4 on one wall and then 4 on the wall across from it. I was nervous about the idea at first but quickly realized showering in that environment was very stressful, and that set the nerves aside. Nobody wanted to take group showers but when you’re getting screamed at you don’t have a lot of time to think. Also, since there were 60 of us in my flight and only 8 heads, it was common practice to have 2 or 3 people per shower head. Never got to look around or enjoy the views because we were rushed through the entire process.
After basic I started going to the gym on base and using the locker room every time I went. It was a mix of retirees and young military guys. There were 2 giant shower rooms but they were hardly ever used. I was always the only person showering when I was there.
My first experience with communal showers (and changing in front of strangers) was in 7th grade for PE. And to make matters worse, I was a shy kid, so dropping my pants in a congested locker room and walking naked to take a mandatory shower (about 4-5 heads per wall, no curtains or anything) was traumatizing. And no towels were issued until after you showered, so you had to undress, walk naked down the aisle, take a shower, walk naked to the towel window, and only then could you wrap yourself in a towel, which was the size of a handkerchief. It only covered so much. Only then could you walk back safely to your locker, where you had to drop the towel and dress. Hated the whole process
But by 9th grade we were used to it, so it wasn't as scarring. But that first year in junior high...ooof!
