Graduated from Aurora HIgh school not Hodge in cleveland----Left Cleveland 1947- then moved back . to Minnesota
Got the acting bug at Hodge high school in Cleveland Ohio playing Cinderella's evil sister in the 4th grade. Back to Aurora High School starring in all class plays and winning declamation contests. Teachers all said "you will go to Hollywood". How? Well Miss Minnesota contest, Modeling job traveling, Miss San Francisco, And discovered, than to Hollywood. My first picture was Secret File Hollywood, which we premiered back in Aurora. What a thrill that was! They even had posters in the windows saying "welcome Home Francine Spoke at the auditorium saying this was where I started. I do not think there will ever be such an experience like that for me again. If the plane had crashed on way back to Hollywood I felt I had my day. Fortunately it did not. Along came many movies for Jerry Lewis. The Big Break with Marlon Brando and David Niven at Universal Playing and Italian In BEDTIME STORY.
