Founding Product & Operations

Digital nomads. Work from anywhere

Company: TeamGrid

Read this part first
* There is no salary. Not a small one. None.
* You'd be taking equity and commission in a company that might not work.
* That's why this is designed as a side role, not a leap. We want someone who already has a job, a freelance business, family support, or savings. Something that covers your rent while we build this.
* Expect around 15 hours a week, on your schedule, with a couple of overlapping hours for calls with Boston.
* I'd rather have five focused hours from someone who's calm than fifty hours from someone who's worried about paying bills. Building under financial pressure leads to short-term decisions, and this is a long-term company.
* If TeamGrid works, this is because of this process
* If a full-time paid role comes, you'll be first in line, or help advise and work out a plan to hire the next in line. That's the opportunity. It's just not the starting point.
What we're building
* Talent is everywhere. Access isn't.
* TeamGrid is the hiring network for AI-fluent sales talent. It's where ambitious mid-career sellers and emerging sales leaders learn how their peers actually use AI, prove what they know, and get hired by companies building what's next.
* You'd be the third person building it.
What you'd own
* Two jobs. You have to genuinely want both. People who only want the product side usually stall here.
Product
* You own how TeamGrid feels to use.
* Map the journey for every user. Candidate, hiring manager, from the first visit through getting hired.
* Talk to users every week and turn what you learn into better decisions.
* Prototype with AI instead of waiting for engineers.
* Write product specs that developers can build from without another meeting.
* Decide what we shouldn't build just as much as what we should.
Operations
* You build the systems that let a two-person company operate like a ten-person company.
* Find repetitive work and replace it with AI workflows.
* Document how we work in Google Drive and Notion as we build.
* Own the internal systems so the founder doesn't have to.
* Make one process better every single week and make sure it stays better.
The honest trade
* What you give up:
* Your evenings and a good part of your weekends for as long as it takes.
* The certainty of knowing whether any of this pays off.
* What you get:
* Direct access to a founder who's done this before. LaunchSource helped more than 10,000 sales professionals get hired and scaled to over $1M ARR before this.
* Real ownership that grows as the company grows, documented before you start.
* A front-row seat to every part of building a company. Customer acquisition, sales, go-to-market, product, fundraising, and hiring.
* A network of founders, operators, and sales leaders who will know your work and know your name.
* Skills that stay with you even if TeamGrid doesn't work.
* Top performers may earn the opportunity to spend two weeks in the United States working alongside customers, joining strategy sessions, learning go-to-market firsthand, and building relationships with our founder network. It's something you earn, not something that's promised.
Who this is for
* You've either built something or are interested in partnering with someone (that doesn't have your skillset)
* You use AI every day and would struggle to imagine working without it.
* You write clearly. Short sentences. No fluff.
* You'd rather figure something out than wait for instructions.
* When something is messy or disorganized, you naturally fix it.
* You're more interested in becoming exceptional over the next three years than being comfortable this year.
* Your living expenses are already covered by something other than this opportunity.
* Startup experience helps, but it isn't required.
* Nothing on your CV matters more than how you approach your first month.
* This probably isn't the right fit if you're between jobs and need this to become income quickly, or if you need a clearly defined role and someone checking in every day. Those are completely reasonable things to want. We just aren't at that stage yet, and it's better to be honest about that.
