Founding Marketing Hire

Digital nomads. Work from anywhere

Company: Encited - formerly LovableHTML

Company: Encited (https://encited.com)
What we do: We help brands get found by both search engines *and* AI — SEO, AI visibility (getting cited in ChatGPT, Perplexity, and AI Overviews), content marketing, technical SEO analysis and more. The whole point is getting you *cited*. Hence the name.
Stage: Profitable, bootstrapped, and growing — this is a founding marketing
Location: Remote
Comp: Competitive base plus a performance bonus tied to results — final offer depends on your experience and location
The short version
We're a profitable, bootstrapped product, and our buyers already trust a specific group of people: the educators who teach SEO, AI search / GEO, and technical marketing. We want one person to turn that into a growth channel, finding the right educators, pitching them, and getting Encited in front of audiences that already care about ranking and AI visibility.
The founder runs sales and LinkedIn outbound. You'd run educator partnerships in parallel, end to end. We give you the product, the budget, and full autonomy. You bring the judgment.
What you'll own
- Finding the right educators — the YouTubers, IG/TikTok, newsletter writers, course creators, and X/LinkedIn voices in SEO, GEO/AI search, and technical marketing whose audiences actually overlap with our buyers. Real fit, not vanity follower counts.
- Outreach: first-touch, follow-ups, and the back-and-forth to land a partnership
- Getting content live — integrations, sponsorships, demos, collabs — and coordinating educators through to publish
- Running the test loop: try a few, read the signal, double down or pivot platform/angle (YouTube SEO channels, SEO newsletters, the X SEO community, LinkedIn, dev/marketing communities)
- Owning the pipeline — who's in what stage, what's converting, what isn't
- Using AI tools to move fast on the parts that should be fast (sourcing, drafting, personalization). Don't hand-type what a model can draft.
What a good first 90 days looks like
You pick a starting platform, line up your first handful of educators, get content live, and come back with a clear read: this is working and here's how I'd scale it, or this isn't and here's the angle I'm testing next. We care about signal and judgment, not a headcount of creators "lined up."
What we're looking for
The trait that matters most: you can run the loop without being told each step. "Test a few, read the result, pivot if it flops" is the whole job to you, not something you need a playbook for. You decide which educators to chase and when to change direction.
Beyond that:
- You've done creator, influencer, or partnership outreach before, and know what makes a pitch land vs. get ignored
- You can hold your own in the SEO / AI-search world — or you learn it fast enough that an educator takes you seriously on a call. You don't need to be an expert, but you can't be a stranger to it.
- You're comfortable with volume relationship work: lots of outreach, lots of follow-up, unbothered by silence
- You actually use AI tools and have opinions on where they help and where they don't
- You can read conversion signal — the difference between "this got views" and "this drove signups"
- Bonus: existing relationships among SEO / marketing / dev educators
How we work
Small, fast, low-process. You'll talk to the founder daily, decisions happen in hours, and you'll own this channel from week one. If you want a big team and a defined ladder, this isn't it. If you want to own a channel and prove you can move revenue, it is.
To apply, send your resume and respond to below questions in a few sentences:
1. Look at [encited.com](https://encited.com). Name three educators you'd pitch first, why their audience fits us, and how you'd reach them. What would tell you within two weeks it's working?
2. Tell us about outreach you ran that flopped — and what you changed.
3. What would you do to grow Encited with $10k/mo, $30k/mo and $100k/mo marketing budget?
