Essential oil diffusers are great for use around the home, baby room, spa and office. Essential oil diffusers breakdown water into a fine mist and add a small amount of humidity to a room. Essential oil diffusers are most often used with natural essential oils to bring aromatherapy benefits to a small space, such as a living room, bedroom and baby room. Since aromatherapy can help improve sleep and mood, aid relaxation, increase energy and enhance concentration. Ultrasonic oil diffusers work by using vibrations to turn water and essential oils into a fine, cool mist. This improves the essential oils diffusion process, preserving the therapeutic benefits since the essential oils aren't heated. There are also nebulizing diffusers which turn essential oils directly into a mist without heat or water, creating a stronger scent. When buying an ultrasonic diffuser, there are a few aspects to consider from water tank size to misting modes. Our essential oil diffusers water tank range from 100ml up to 400ml. Larger tanks can fill a larger space with scent and can last longer before the water needs to be replaced. Smaller tanks, while needing a frequent refill, can satisfy a small room and are ideal for portability. We recommend cleaning the diffuser's water tank every week. Simply unplug, drain the existing water and clean the interior with a soft cloth. Whether a diffuser offers continuous vs intermittent misting is also important to consider. Intermittent mode releases mist in increments usually 30 second spurts, so the diffuser can last longer without needing a water refill. Continuous mode, however, mists continuously without stopping, meaning the tank will run out of water more quickly. There are other features that you may also want to consider when purchasing, like whether a model comes with LED lights, automatic shut-off and the ability to set a timer.
