The ruling Action and Solidarity Party (PDS) in Moldova will present a candidate for the post of head of government by the end of the week, the leader of the political force, Igor Grosu, told reporters.

"We are currently conducting discussions within the party about a candidate, there are potential candidates. I think we will decide on the nomination of such a person by the end of the week. A candidate for the post of head of the Cabinet of Ministers can be either a native of our party or an invited independent specialist. I will not tell you the names, although I understand that the interest in this is well-founded and very great," said the Speaker of the parliament.
