Были на пляже 22-го марта. Припарковались за 10$ у "дядечки" южнее пирса примерно на 1-1,5 км. (Ближе к пирсу - 20). Народу немного, вода прекрасна, на дне - ракушки красивые. За них и поплатилась - стала топтаться вокруг и наступила на ската, которого не было видно - зарылся в песок. Чувствовалось это как сильный укус в пятку. Боль очень сильная и крови много. Ну и ужас - не ожидала ничего плохого и про скатов не знала. Повезло, что рядом была семья американцев, где муж недавно так же пострадал. Они знали, что делать. А именно - нужна ванночка с очень горячей водой минут на 40-50. Они же показали пожарную станцию рядом, где добрые пожарники оказали эту помощь, отметив, что сегодня это 3-й случай. А в сезон бывает до 10 в день. И ходить по дну надо шаркая, а не шагая. Тогда скат отплывет, услышав. Прошло все без следа боли примерно через час. Важно - прививка от столбняка была. А у вас?…

Как долго?) цепь зажатых между пляжем и дорогой отелей. Рекомендую посетить ресторан с морской тематикой Charley's Boathouse Grill

Замечательный белый песок, усыпанный кое-где ракушками! Рай для детворы! Вода прозрачная и вход в воду постепенный, что делает этот пляж особенно удобным для купания.

Это хороший пляж, который был в нескольких минутах ходьбы от наших апартаментов. Песок идеальный и белый и есть маленькие раковины, делают его просто, чтобы ходить босиком.Пляж расположен близко к пирсу очень оживленный, но если вы приехали вперед по направо, его немного тише.Вода была не очень чистой, но были большие, бури в районе с большим количеством дождя, который очевидно увеличил качество воды.Вернулся бы и рекомендовал бы.…

Ever want to see a manatee in person and in their natural habitat? Then Manatee Park is a must stop location. Even if you are in the area for short period of time you should be able to view them here....
It is just off I-75, you'll see the power plant smoke stack, which makes the water warm for the Manatees in the winter, you'll be able to see a lot swimming around and you'll see the injuies they have...

Lovely day on the water kayaking. We did not see any manatees so that was a bit disappointing but there is nothing better than a day on the river in the warm sun in February.

Great place for a walk on the paved trails. Manitee were bountiful the day we were there. If you are into kayaking they have a nice place to do that.

I and my crew had a wonderful kayaking experience - we enjoyed the beautiful surroundings and had the good fortune to see SO MANY MANATEES!!! February is the perfect time to see them, and we were not disappointed. Once we found them, we stopped paddling and drifted at a respectable distance to watch them. It's an experience none of us will ever forget!…

Beautiful little park with lots of native Florida flora and fauna. We did see approximately 7 manatees surfacing. If you have never seen one, this is a fairly easy walk to view. There are several beautiful native plant areas that showcase local plants with labeling. We even found several Giant Milkweed plants loaded with Monarch caterpillars. Parking is $5 for the day or $1/hour. There was a gift shop, and clean bathrooms. The regular kayak launch was closed, but you can launch from the concessionaire's launch....however, that launch was way too far for me to carry my kayak.…

We went here yesterday and saw quite a few manatee. It's nothing like the Crystal River area, where they were literally laying all over one another, but still several to see hanging out several feet into the water from the walkway.
