Former Journalist Whistleblower Found Dead

For anyone skeptical about our deep state tactics of controlling the mainstream news media and filling it with lies, here is another great example. Attempting to expose them recently cost one German journalist his life.

On January 13 2017, German news journalist Dr. Udo Ulfkotte was found dead, just ten months after going public as a whistleblower, exposing how the CIA and German Intelligence (BND) bribe journalists to write pro-Western, pro-NATO, lies and propaganda.

Dr. Ulfkotte is a former editor for the German daily newspaper, Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung (FAZ). He worked as a journalist for 25 years, where he was taught to lie and betray and not tell the truth to the public. He said journalists all over the world are bribed to do it, but he could not bear it any longer when he saw how the intelligence agencies were attempting to ignite war between the United States and Russia. In March 2016, he did an interview with Russia Today (RT), as shown below. He shared many examples of how western journalists are routinely forced to lie to the public.

“I’ve been a journalist for about 25 years, and I was educated to lie, to betray, and not to tell the truth to the public.

But seeing right now within the last months how the German and American media tries to bring war to the people in Europe, to bring war to Russia — this is a point of no return and I’m going to stand up and say it is not right what I have done in the past, to manipulate people, to make propaganda against Russia, and it is not right what my colleagues do and have done in the past because they are bribed to betray the people, not only in Germany, all over Europe.

I am very fearful of a new war in Europe, and I don’t like to have this situation again, because war is never coming from itself, there is always people who push for war, and this is not only politicians, it is journalists too.

We have betrayed our readers, just to push for war. I don’t want this anymore. I’m fed up with this propaganda. We live in a banana republic and not in a democratic country where we have press freedom.”

Ulfkotte said most corporate media journalists in the United States and Europe are “so-called non-official cover,” meaning that they work for an intelligence agency. “I think it is especially the case with British journalists, because they have a much closer relationship. It is especially the case with Israeli journalists. Of course with French journalists. It is the case for Australians, journalists from New Zealand, from Taiwan, well, there are many countries,” he said.

Among the stories Ulfkotte says he was ordered by the CIA to plant in his newspaper was a fake story that Libyan President Moammar Gaddafi was building poison gas factories in 2011.

Since losing his job as a journalist, Dr. Ulfkotte wrote a book called “Bought Journalists” (Gekaufte Journalisten), in which he explained in great detail the workings of the US and NATO’s propaganda campaign and how journalists who refuse to comply can lose their career. The book was published in German, but an English version is scheduled for release in May 2017, under the title “Journalists for Hire: How the CIA Buys the News.”

Dr. Ulfkotte said, “I wrote my new book, not to earn money, no, it will cause a lot of trouble for me.” The German news media was banned from mentioning his book. They reported his death at age 56 was due to heart failure.

Other mainstream news journalists turned whistleblowers include former CNN journalists Amber Lyon and Greg Hunter, as well as former CBS News reporter Sharyl Attkisson.
