In " The Boy Next Door ," Jennifer Lopez plays a recently separated mom who has a passionate tryst with her young neighbor (he's "almost 20"). Yes, it's a total lapse of judgement, and said teenaged neighbor definitely has more than a few screws loose in his beautiful head, but sometimes, a mom deserves to get some.
Claire isn't the first thirsty mom to grace the big and small screens. In fact, moms having affairs with significantly younger men is a celebrated trope -- one that deserves a bit of a retrospective.
Mrs. Robinson and Ben, "The Graduate"
Mrs. Robinson (Anne Bancroft) is the OG thirsty mom. Stuck in loveless marriage, she seduces 20-year-old Ben (Dustin Hoffman) and basically turns him into her own personal sex slave. And when Ben falls in love with her daughter Elaine, she tries to thwart their relationship because if she's miserable, everyone has to be.
Jeanine Stifler (aka Stifler's mom) and Paul Finch, "American Pie"
Stifler's mom (Jennifer Coolidge) is the inspiration behind the phrase M.I.L.F. Every male student at East Great Falls High has had a least one sexual fantasy starring the buxom beauty, but it's uber-nerd Finch (Eddie Kaye Thomas) who actually gets to bang Stifler's mom -- much to the chagrin of Finch's frenemy, and Jeanine's son, Steve (Seann William Scott) -- and thereby lose his virginity.
Connie (Diane Lane) and her husband (Richard Gere) have a solid, yet boring relationship. Her world is turned upside down when she meets a handsome younger man (Oliver Martinez) on the street. Connie and Paul's passionate affair begins with a painful meet-cute and ends with murder. The weapon? A snowglobe. The thirst has its consequences.
Julie Cooper and Luke Ward, "The O.C."
After being dumped by her old, rich beau Caleb Nichol, H.B.I.C. Julie Cooper (Melinda Clarke) starts an affair with Luke (Chris Carmack), her daughter's teenaged ex-boyfriend. He's lonely, she's horny (and perhaps also lonely), and the rest is "O.C." history.
Deb Lee and Skills, "One Tree Hill"
Technically, Skills (Antwon Tanner) is no longer a teenager when he and Deb (Barbara Alyn Woods) begin dating in season six, but seeing as she knew Skills when he was a teen -- and good friends with her son Nathan (James Lafferty) -- their relationship is all kinds of awkward.
Ashley Marin and Jason DiLaurentis, "Pretty Little Liars"
Ashley Marin (Laura Leighton), Rosewood's coolest mom, finally gets some action this season on "Pretty Little Liars" when she hooks up with her young boss -- and her daughter's former best friend's brother -- Jason DiLaurentis (Drew Van Acker). Mrs. Marin and Jason share a steamy kiss, and the subsequent hookup is still shrouded in mystery -- just how we like things in Rosewood.
Claire and Noah, "The Boy Next Door"
"I really like your mother's cookies." 'Nuff said.

NEW BALTIMORE, Mich. (WJBK) - A local mom is going viral over a big decision to give her teenager hormones to transition into a female. The video is being shared millions of times on Facebook tonight and now Erica Maison is talking about her decision.
Anticipation and excitement was on display as the 14-year-old New Baltimore girl opened a hidden box from her mother. It wasn't jewelry or concert tickets.
"Do you know what that is?" Erica asked, as Corey smiles and moves toward mom for a tearful hug.
Corey's mom surprised her with her first dose of hormones, something the transgendered teen has waited to get for three years. Erica wanted to capture the emotional moment.
"I just started crying," Erica says.
"I opened it, I read the top and it said 'estrogen, Corey says. β€œI stopped and froze for a second. I was so happy I started crying."
"It was such a relief," Erica says. "It had been so many years waiting."
It hasn't been easy for Corey who was born a boy and feels she spent the first decade of her life living in someone else's body. The signs started young.
"My second birthday I got a truck, my sister got a Barbie doll and I wanted nothing to do with the truck," Corey remembers.
"[Corey would] dress up in my heels and dresses," Erica says. "All little boys do that, that is a phase usually. As Corey gets to be 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 years old, it didn't stop."
They say everything became clear when they found online videos from Jazz Jennings, one of the youngest publicly documented people to be identified as gender dysphoric, or a person who identifies with a different gender than they were born with.
"I blurted out, 'I'm just like her!'" Corey says.
Corey's turning point was at 10 years old. After extensive research by mom and evaluations by a medical team at a gender clinic in Chicago, Corey received an implant to begin hormone suppression.
"The hardest part for me was the journey I knew we had ahead of us," says Erica. β€œNegativity scared me as a mom."
Like so many transgendered teens, the 8th grader has had to deal with bullies and cruel comments. But with the help of counselors, her supportive parents, siblings and friends, she is learning to overcome it.
All of it leading to this pivotal moment, receiving her long-awaited estrogen and go ahead from the doctors. A moment mom knew would mean the world to her little girl.
"It was like a dream, it was surreal," Erica says.
"It was the best feeling ever," Corey says. "Like, I told my mom, I felt like I was in a box in a long, long time and I was just unlocked."

Lyudmila Denisova, the Ukrainian Parliament's Commissioner for Human Rights, alleged on Friday that Russian soldiers have raped children during the ongoing invasion of Ukraine.
In a Facebook post, Denisova alleged that an 11-year-old boy was raped by Russians in front of his mother who was tied to a chair and forced to watch as it happened in the Ukrainian city of Bucha.
"The level of brutality of the army of terrorists and executioners of the Russian Federation knows no bounds - raped children...," wrote Denisova, who has been appointed by the Ukrainian parliament to monitor human rights abuses.
Also in Bucha, Denisova wrote, a 14-year-old girl became pregnant after she was allegedly raped by five Russian soldiers, and a 20-year-old woman was raped by three Russians "in all possible ways at once" in the city of Irpen.
"There is no place on earth or in hell where racist criminals can hide from retribution!" Denisova wrote, adding that rape is strictly banned by Article 27 of the 1949 Geneva Convention relative to the Protection of Civilian Persons in Time of War.
Denisova also urged the UN Commission for Investigation Human Rights Violations to take into account "these facts of Russian war crimes in Ukraine."
"The racist occupiers must bear the strictest responsibility!" she said.
Children have reportedly been targeted by Russian soldiers since the war on Ukraine began in late February with the U.N. High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) reporting that 121 children were killed as of April 3.
On Sunday, Human Rights Watch (HRW) released a report including witness accounts of Russian soldiers raping and executing Ukrainian civilians . HRW said that between February 27 and March 14, a case of "repeated rape" and two cases of "summary execution" have taken place in the occupied areas of Chernihiv, Kharkiv and Kyiv.
"The cases we documented amount to unspeakable, deliberate cruelty and violence against Ukrainian civilians," Hugh Williamson, Europe and Central Asia director at Human Rights Watch, said in a statement . "Rape, murder and other violent acts against people in the Russian forces' custody should be investigated as war crimes."
This week, Ukrainian Internal Affairs Minister Anton Gerashchenko said in a Telegram post that Russian soldiers "tortured and brutally killed" some civilians in the village of Motyzhyn, including mayor Olha Sukhenko and her husband and son, who were kidnapped by Russian troops on March 25. The mayor and her husband had refused to collaborate with the Russian forces, according to local residents.
Similar incidents were reported in Bucha where journalists said they saw dead bodies of civilians in what Ukrainian officials described as a "deliberate massacre."
Newsweek reached out to the Russian foreign ministry and the Ukrainian foreign ministry for comments.

Three Stafford residents were forced to strip naked by two masked men who broke into their home, police said.

The men broke into a home in the neighborhood of Widewater Village on Monday morning, and ordered a couple and their 10-month-old baby to strip naked.
The men then had the family take them around the house to collect valuables like cash, computers and jewelry, police said.

The men tied the family up in the garage before leaving. The family freed themselves and called 911.
