Locations
The Exam Schedule lists the locations in which DEP conducts operator qualification exams. Exam pages for each exam are available for additional guidelines, conditions and guidelines and exam content. If you need special accommodations due to chronic illness, hearing or visual impairment or other disabilities Contact the exam provider and provide the information when you register.
Faculty can find their exam times through the "View My Teaching Schedule" task on the Faculty Dashboard in Workday. The Registrar's Office also has a list of exam times for courses that are required to take an exam as per NYSED regulations. For evening classes, final exams are scheduled at the regular class time during the week of the exam.
Please be aware that the Projected University Examination Schedule is only a guideline and that the dates for the final exam are subject to change.
Registration
Students are encouraged to consult the exam schedule online. It is important to remember that the schedule for exams may change at any moment. Therefore, egzamin teoretyczny a1 should consult with their instructors to ensure that they have the correct date and time for their exam. Students should also be sure to print out the official list and bring it with them for their exams.
Students must also familiarize themselves with the guidelines and terms of the exam, in addition to the schedule. These are available on the individual exam page. Students acknowledge they have read and agreed to the terms and conditions of registration.
Exam locations try their best to accommodate those with special needs. The nature and extent of these needs must be stated on the registration form and confirmed by an attestation from a doctor. Additionally, the exam locations must respect confidentiality and be maintained.
If a student is scheduled to take three examinations scheduled on the same day, it is recommended that they contact their instructor or department to arrange an exam to make up. It is possible to have three examinations on the same day. However, this could cause a lot of stress and affect the quality of the exam. In addition, the professor might not be able to give a makeup exam on a different day.
Before taking the exam, students must prepare by studying the study material and practicing their German skills. The test is a paper-based test which measures the ability to read, speak, and write in German. The test results are reported using a scale from A1 to C2. Students who succeed in passing the test are awarded a Goethe-Zertifikat. The certificate demonstrates the achievement of language level A1. This level corresponds with the first level of the six-level scale of competence laid out in the Common European Framework of Reference for Foreign Languages. The exam is free of cost. Students must carry an ID that is valid for government purposes to the test. Anyone who does not have a valid photo ID will be disqualified.
Fees
You must pay an exam fee for the opportunity to receive the Goethe-Zertifikat (start German 1) after you have completed your Elan Academy studies. This is in addition to the course fee.
Practice assessments allow you to get a feel for the style of the questions, their wording, and the difficulty of the questions on the test. They can help you evaluate your knowledge, identify gaps and improve your chances of passing the exam.
Please be aware that the exam fee is not refundable. Exam results can only be received by email and not by telephone.
