For Sex Toys That Plug-In or Recharge

If you have motorized sex toys that need plugging in or recharging, here are some things to keep in mind. Some of these toys require a standard 120 Volt outlet for charging. Using adapters in some cases might harm the sex toy. It's crucial never to plug a North American-style 120 VAC adapter into a 220 VAC outlet, as this can result in a dangerous short circuit, leading to severe burns and a fire hazard.

Many sex toy manufacturers are now shifting to USB chargers, making them compatible worldwide. If you want to check whether a rechargeable sex toy you're interested in includes a USB cable, please refer to our product information or contact us for details.

Rechargeable Products

While rechargeable sex toys vary, here are some general tips to follow, as not adhering to them might void the manufacturer's warranty.

1. Use the Provided Charger

Only use the charger that came with your sex toy.

2. Be Gentle When Inserting

Insert the jack into the sex toy carefully, as forcing it may cause the jack to break off inside, leading to damage.

3. Charging Time

For the initial charge, let your sex toy charge for at least 24 hours. Some manufacturers suggest up to 48 hours. Afterward, many recommend 12-hour charging sessions.

4. Avoid Full Battery Discharge

Avoid completely discharging the battery, as it could permanently damage most rechargeable batteries. Newer rechargeable sex toys with NiMH rechargeable batteries are designed to avoid memory problems associated with NiCad batteries. So, there's no benefit in running the batteries down to zero. Recharge it when the power starts to fade.

5. Proper Storage

NiMH rechargeable batteries can't be overcharged, but for long-term storage, it's advisable to unplug the sex toy and its charger.

6. Use Water-Based Lubricants

We recommend using water-based lubricants with any sex toy, as they are safe for use with various materials, reducing the risk of chemical reactions.

7. Avoid Water Contact

Keep your charging adapter away from water to prevent the risk of electrical shock.
