Instead of doing a remaster of my original Nico Robin pic, I decided to completely redo her and make a different pic. To be honest I cannot be anymore happier with how this pic turned out!!! <3 Yeah there are a few areas that might need improvement but after all I think Robin looks absolutely sexy! The title says it all, I love Oda's artstyle but everytime I see a panel with a close up of feet in it, its ugliness distracts me. Even the characters that are supposed to be beautiful (i.e. Nami) end up with the nastiest feet, so its clearly not on purpose.
It is not only in close ups, tho. Did you ever catch Mike, Lu & Og on Cartoon Network? Those kinda feet look like Oda's representation of a foot from a certain distance.

I'm used to the art style. Even before I started reading One Piece, as a kid I read a magazine called 'Gila-Gila' (Crazies) in Malaysia. Locals, more so the villagers, wear flip flops all the time and they had the same style of feet.

Yeah, but I think that's a stylistic choice for certain characters. He's drawn many characters with different kinds of legs, but he seems to like focusing on the torso while designing muscular characters.
