I rated this 4 stars not because I disliked the item or because of the shipper...first, it was shipped the day after I ordered it and I thought that was pretty fast..it was shipped during the inauguration so that slowed it getting to me but again, that was not the shipper's fault..Fedex is who delivered it and they had a little bit of a time because I was told it was not on the truck for delivery when it clearly showed it was out for delivery and then I was told the driver forgot to deliver it on that Friday...Again, not the shipper's fault..when it arrived, it was missing the knob for the monitor..this unit was new, still wrapped in plastic and must have just slipped past the quality inspectors at the factory...I contacted focusrite and they shipped me a new knob....took about 12 days...it came from England and that is why, but I will tell you, the Focusrite people are great to deal with...OK, I downloaded all the freebie software as well as registered the unit, that took a bit, about 2.5 hours or longer...and then, because I am still using Windows 7, the drivers would not work until I downloaded a patch, so make sure if you are using Windows 7 you do this otherwise the unit will not power on...I am using this interface with a new mic I just received and it works pretty good..now, keep in mind, you get what is in the photo: the focusrite 2nd gen solo interface, the stand, the pop filter and two XLR cables...there is not a carrying case or adaptor that is suggested in the add...not sure why that is there..however, the stand is pretty nice, the cables are hard core heavy duty, the pop filter is standard quality and the interface does what I want it to do...the only issues I had was from the people who delivered it, Fedex, and the fact the knob was missing but has since been replaced easily and without too much fuss...the shipper communicated with me easily and anytime I had a question so I was happy there was a rapport between us. It was definitely worth what I paid because I know the Fedex shipping was not cheap...the shipper sent the XLR cables after I received the unit and they are really nice..all and all, worth the money even if there were issues...honest shipper of this product and I would order from them again..

So far so good...been using it non-stop for more than a week and it handles pretty well. I have a mic and guitar connected to it, with two speaker monitors... The extra cables are a plus...the stand is sturdy and adjustable which is great, although I figure a microphone holder clip would be included but bought it separately for $5....

Everything came as described. There is a bit of a learning curve with the software, but they made very informative videos on how to install everything. Works perfectly!

Nice price. Interface works perfect. Excellent Sound quality, but the mic stand is a little cheap. You get what you pay for.

My husband had been begging for this for months. He plays the guitar and is in a band. He really enjoys it and it seems to be working well.

Great gear at a great price. It preforms beautifully and I would not hesitate to recommend this seller!!
