"Fluctuations" algorithm

Futures and spot high-frequency bot "Hurricane" is able to determine the most volatile coins in real time and shows them in the table of USD-bots in the column "Number of fluctuations in the last 15 minutes", and the inclusion of the "Swings" algorithm allows you to automatically launch high-frequency bots on these coins in user-selected direction. To run this algorithm, it is recommended to use a separate sub-account of the exchange (or a separate broker account which can be created with one click in the section "Add exchange").

The number of fluctuations is the price move by 0.25% (standard distance in the grid) or more for every 15 seconds during the last 15 minutes, in reality there will be several times more transactions made by bots, because the bot can also make several transactions per second during periods of extreme volatility, when several orders in the grid are instantly filled at once. For coins with the most fluctuations, it makes sense to launch high-risk long bots (especially if trading volumes and prices have been growing lately) with a pre-specified upper and lower stop loss (or a stop loss near the last high and low), be sure to set up auto-reset extra contracts due to the fact that when making thousands of trades per hour, extra contracts can quickly accumulate.

When running the "Fluctuations" algorithm, you can select the minimum and maximum growth in the price of the coin (as a percentage per day), you can specify both a positive and a negative number (for example, from -10 to -1 for short bots). In addition, you can select the minimum number of fluctuations required to launch the bot. It is not necessary to specify these values, if they are not specified, then the system values will be applied, which can be seen in the corresponding fields in gray color when editing the bot (by clicking on its status).

Be sure to set General Limits to mitigate risk. It is recommended to use this algorithm together with a single anti-liquidation and a dynamic limit on the maximum number of positions. Also be sure to specify a limit on the number of simultaneously launched bots by "Fluctuations" algo.

The "Fluctuations" algorithm is designed only for a growing market, therefore, together with it, it is recommended to use a filter on the Fear and Greed index and its growth in order not to open long positions for altcoins during periods of a falling market.
