Little Women star Florence Pugh took to Instagram on Monday to share two topless pictures as she discovered she was nominated for an Oscar.
The star, 24, wrote that one picture was taken a moment before she discovered the news and the second showed the exact moment it was confirmed she has been nominated for her portrayal of Amy March in the Greta Gerwig adaptation.
Florence made sure to cover her modesty with a bedsheet in one of the pictures and used two artfully placed avocado emojis to cover up in the other.
This is her moment: Little Women star Florence Pugh, 24, shared a topless Instagram picture from the EXACT moment she discovered she was nominated for an Oscar on Monday
Captioning the image, she wrote: 'Before the moment.. the exact moment. #nominated #foraf***ingoscar!!!!!!'
Florence has some stiff competition when it comes to the category for Best Supporting Actress at the Academy Awards on February 9.
She is up against the likes of Laura Dern for Marriage Story, Scarlett Johansson for Jojo Rabbit, Margot Robbie for Bombshell and Kathy Bates for Richard Jewell.
A moment before... Florence also shared this snap which showed her waiting to hear whether or not she was up for a gong
Gerwig's version of Louisa May Alcott's Little Women tells the story of Jo March, played by Saoirse Ronan, 25, as she reflects upon her life.
Jo is the main protagonist, an ambitious young writer who is keen to make her own way in the world.
Ronan has been nominated for Best Actress at the Academy Awards and is up against Cynthia Erivo for Harriet, Scarlett Johansson for Marriage Story, Charlize Theron for Bombshell and Renée Zellweger for Judy.
Meg, played by Emma Watson, 29, is the eldest sister and is very traditionalist in her views. Middle sister Beth, played by Eliza Scanlen, 21, is the most caring of the siblings.
Iconic: Greta Gerwig's version of Louisa May Alcott's Little Women tells the story of Jo March [Saoirse Ronan; centre) as she reflects back and forth on her life (Florence, pictured left and Emma Watson pictured right)
The youngest of the March sisters, Amy, played by Florence, prizes her appearance and aims to marry a rich man.
But in the past, it's fair to say her character has always been looked down on in favour of spirited heroine Jo.
However, Pugh is hoping her layered adaptation of the character will speak to viewers, playing her as ambitious and passionate young women.
Speaking about the role to Junkee.com, she said: 'I really appreciate playing fascinating and interesting women.
'They don’t always have to be likeable. I enjoy women who have something to say, they have a point that they represent.'

The movie is also up for Best Picture, Best Costume Design, Original Score and Best Adapted Screenplay.
Director Greta Gerwig won Best Adapted Screenplay at the Critics Choice Awards on Sunday.
But sadly, Florence lost out to Laura Dern in the Best Supporting Actress category for her role as divorce attorney Nora in Noah Baumbach’s Marriage Story.
Florence will be leading the Brits when it comes to the Academy Awards.
