The 22-year-old brunette beauty bared all in the period drama, which garnered enough critical acclaim to earn her a nomination for the EE Rising Star gong at the BAFTA Awards next month.
Her peachy behind took centre-stage in one gripping scene as she embodied the part of Katherine Lester, a young bride who is sold to a wealthy husband but starts an affair with a servant after finding herself trapped in the loveless marriage.
The film also saw her undress for several passionate romps with her lover Sebastian (played by Cosmo Jarvis).
She flaunted her curves in nothing but her birthday suit as the pair got hot and heavy on screen.
Florence recently told The Sun that she had once been told to lose weight for a role, but that she had steadfastly refused.
“I’ve been told to be skinny before - it’s already happened, but it’s up to you to either listen or say no,” she said, adding: “I’m not listening.
“It shapes who you want to be and what character you want to play. I’m looking for characters - interesting women that spark conversation.”
Addressing the nudity in Lady Macbeth, Florence insisted that she didn’t mind stripping off when it made sense for the narrative.
“For me, I really appreciate seeing real bodies on screen, that variation, not the same frames we saw for the majority of our upbringing making us feel like we have to look that way,” she said.
Florence goes up against Timothée Chalamet, Daniel Kaluuya, Josh O’Connor and Tessa Thompson in the EE Rising Star Award category at the BAFTAs next month.

When the first trailer for Olivia Wilde’s psychological thriller “Don’t Worry Darling” dropped in May, all anyone on social media could talk about was a provocative moment in which Harry Styles ’ character performs oral sex on Florence Pugh ’s character on a dining room table. The mere tease of a racy sex scene sent the internet into overdrive, but Pugh refused to discuss the scene during a recent interview with Harper’s Bazaar . In fact, Pugh criticized viewers for reducing the entire film to its one sex scene.
“When it’s reduced to your sex scenes, or to watch the most famous man in the world go down on someone, it’s not why we do it. It’s not why I’m in this industry,” Pugh said. “Obviously, the nature of hiring the most famous pop star in the world, you’re going to have conversations like that. That’s just not what I’m going to be discussing because [this movie is] bigger and better than that. And the people who made it are bigger and better than that.”
Set in the 1950s, “Don’t Worry Darling” stars Pugh as an idyllic housewife living with her husband (Styles) in a utopian experimental community. When one of the wives in their neighborhood goes missing, Pugh’s character begins to worry that her husband’s glamorous company may be hiding disturbing secrets. The film co-stars Wilde, Gemma Chan, KiKi Layne, Nick Kroll and Chris Pine.
Styles spoke about filming sex scenes earlier this year on “ The Howard Stern Show ,” saying, “It does feel vulnerable. I’d never kissed anyone on camera before and it felt like giving a part of myself away in some ways.”
“I think the most important thing in that stuff is trust,” Styles added. “I think if you speak about it properly with everyone that’s involved [that helps]. If you remember that the most important thing on the set is the two human beings doing it. If at any point either one of you is uncomfortable, I think having the conversation where it’s like, ‘It doesn’t matter if they’re getting great stuff, if you don’t feel good, you tell me and we’ll stop.’”
“Don’t Worry Darling” is set to world premiere at the Venice Film Festival. Warner Bros. is opening the thriller in theaters Sept. 23.

"When it's reduced to your sex scenes, or to watch the most famous man in the world go down on someone, it's not why we do it," Pugh explained to 'Harper's Bazaar.'
When the trailer for Olivia Wilde’s Don’t Worry Darling — a 1950s-set thriller following a housewife as she unravels dark secrets regarding her husband’s work on something called “The Victory Project” — first arrived, there was one particularly sensual two-second moment between leading lady Florence Pugh and Harry Styles that became the most talked-about part of the movie by a landslide.
In a new interview with Harper’s Bazaar , published on Tuesday (Aug. 16), Pugh revealed that she isn’t too happy with the public’s focus on the scene in question, which features Styles’ character Jack pinning his wife, Pugh’s character Alice, to a dining table and intensely performing oral sex on her. Although several more intimate scenes were sprinkled throughout the original trailer as well as the second trailer — which is preceded by a warning that it may be “inappropriate for some users” and asks viewers to confirm their age before watching on the Warner Bros. official YouTube channel — the 26-year-old actress says she’d rather people discuss the film as a whole rather than just those moments.
“When it’s reduced to your sex scenes, or to watch the most famous man in the world go down on someone, it’s not why we do it,” Pugh explained in the interview. “It’s not why I’m in this industry.”
“Obviously, the nature of hiring the most famous pop star in the world, you’re going to have conversations like that,” she continued. “That’s just not what I’m going to be discussing because [this movie is] bigger and better than that. And the people who made it are bigger and better than that.”
Don’t Worry Darling is set to arrive in theaters Sept. 23 this year, and will mark Styles’ first leading role in a film. He began his acting career in 2017 playing a soldier in Christopher Nolan’s Dunkirk , and is set to star in Michael Grandage’s My Policeman , out this October.

Florence Pugh speaks out against fans and critics who are focusing too much on her and Harry Styles' sex scenes in Don't Worry Darling.
Florence Pugh speaks out against fans and critics who are focusing too much on her and Harry Styles' sex scenes in Don't Worry Darling . Olivia Wilde made her directorial debut with the coming-of-age comedy Booksmart in 2019 and now, for her sophomore feature, the actress and filmmaker has headed in a decidedly different direction with Don't Worry Darling , an enigmatic psychological thriller. The film reunites Wilde with Booksmart writer Katie Silberman, who wrote the script based on a story treatment by Dick Van Dyke's grandchildren, Carey and Shane.
Pugh and Styles, who both happen to be newcomers to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, star together in Don't Worry Darling as Alice and Jack Chambers, young and happy newlyweds living in the seemingly idyllic company town of Victory. The film's stellar supporting cast includes Wilde, Chris Pine, Gemma Chan, KiKi Layne, and Nick Kroll. When a woman in the close-knit community goes missing, Pugh's housewife character begins to suspect the utopic company town may be harboring dark and disturbing secrets. The first Don't Worry Darling trailer debuted during CinemaCon 2022 and quickly made waves online for its steamy sex scenes.
During a recent conversation with Harper’s Bazaar , Pugh spoke out against those who she feels are focusing too much on Don't Worry Darling 's sex scenes. In fact, Pugh even refused to discuss the risqué scenes during the interview and instead slammed those critics and fans who are reducing the film to its intimate scenes. Read what she said below:
When it’s reduced to your sex scenes, or to watch the most famous man in the world go down on someone, it’s not why we do it. It’s not why I’m in this industry. Obviously, the nature of hiring the most famous pop star in the world, you’re going to have conversations like that. That’s just not what I’m going to be discussing because [this movie is] bigger and better than that. And the people who made it are bigger and better than that.
After the first Don't Worry Darling trailer was released this past May, it seemed that its sex scenes were all everyone on social media could talk about, especially one particularly provocative moment in which Styles' character performs oral sex on Pugh's character on a dining room table. Styles' rumored nudity in the film also became the subject of much attention, as well as a behind-the-scenes romance between Styles and Wilde. Speaking about Don't Worry Darling 's sex scenes, the director promised they are all about " female pleasure ," likening the scenes to Adrian Lyne’s erotic thrillers like Fatal Attraction and Indecent Proposal .
Pugh is absolutely justified in her criticism of the current discourse surrounding her new film. Rather than focusing on the plight of Pugh's distressed housewife , what the film is saying about suburban life in 1950s America, or the overall mystery involving t
