“I know exactly what people are saying about me. And it's simply not true. I don't need to use drugs. They can come and test me every week of the year if they want to. I've got nothing to hide.” “The ladder of success is never crowded at the top.” “If you want to run like a man, you have to train like a man.” “I have the dream of running the marathon because I just love running. I'll go out and just run and run and run along the roads. I love the fact of running.” “If I stop to kick every barking dog, I'm not going to get to the places I need to go.” “I wasn't chasing a world record for the finals. I was just chasing a gold medal.” “There's no substitute for hard work ... I have the medals to prove it!” “If I can run relaxed and run right through the tape, the record will come.” “I've been in track and field for more than 20 years, and out of all my races, I've lost more than I've won. But it's all been fun.” “She passed the final, ultimate drug test.” “We were dazzled by her speed, humbled by her talent and captivated by her style.”
Olympic gold medalist Florence Joyner brought style to track and field with form-fitting bodysuits, six-inch fingernails and amazing speed. She still holds the world records in the 100- and 200-meter events.

At the 1984 Summer Olympics, Florence Joyner, also known as "Flo Jo," won a silver medal in the 200-meter run. She married fellow athlete Al Joyner, the brother of famed athlete Jackie Joyner-Kersee . At the 1988 Summer Olympics in Seoul, South Korea, Joyner took home three gold medals and a silver. She and her coach, Bob Kersee, came under media speculation when rumors spread that she might have been using performance-enhancing drugs to improve her times. Joyner died unexpectedly in September 1998, at age 38, after suffering an epileptic seizure. She still holds the world records in the 100- and 200-meter events.
Olympian Florence Joyner, known widely as "Flo Jo," was born Florence Delorez Griffith on December 21, 1959, in Los Angeles, California. Joyner began running at the age of 7, and her gift for speed soon became apparent. At the age of 14, she won the Jesse Owens National Youth Games. She later competed for Jordan High School, where she served as the anchor on the relay team, and then went on to race at the college level.
After attending California State University at Northridge, Joyner transferred to the University of California Los Angeles, where she quickly earned a reputation as a track star. She became an NCAA champion in 1982 with a victory in the 200-meter event. The following year, she took the top spot in the 400-meter event.
Coached by Bob Kersee, Joyner made her Olympic debut in 1984, at the Summer Olympic Games in Los Angeles. There, she won a silver medal for the 200-meter run and became known for her world-record speed, form-fitting bodysuits and six-inch fingernails. A few years later, in 1987, Florence married fellow athlete Al Joyner, the brother of famed athlete Jackie Joyner-Kersee (taking the legal name Florence Delorez Griffith-Joyner, she became publicly known as Florence Joyner, or "Flo Jo," at this time).
Around this time, Joyner selected her husband to serve as a coach, dropping Kersee. She had taken a break from competing after the 1984 Olympics and had just decided to re-enter racing. Before long, however, she began training again for the 1988 Olympic Games under Kersee. Joyner's hard work paid off at the 1988 Summer Olympics, held in Seoul, South Korea. She took home three gold medals, in the 4-by-100 meter relay, and the 100- and 200-meter runs; as well as a silver medal in the 4-by-400 meter relay.
Joyner's Olympic performance brought her all kinds of other accolades. She was named The Associated Press ' "Female Athlete of the Year" and Track and Field magazine's "Athlete of the Year." Joyner also won the Sullivan Award for best amateur athlete.
After the 1988 Olympics, Joyner retired from competition. Suspicions soon arose regarding how the so-called "world's fastest woman" achieved her victories. Joyner and her coach, Kersee, came under media speculation when another athlete suggested that Joyner had used performance-enhancing drugs. Some attributed the substantial improvements Joyner made in her performance levels from 1984 to 1988 to illegal substances. Others thought that her incredibly muscular physique had to have been created with the help of performance-enhancing drugs.
Rumors also spread regarding Kersee's training techniques, suggesting that he could have been encouraging his runners to use steroids or other drugs in order to win medals. Joyner always insisted that she never used performance enhancers, and she never failed a drug test. In fact, according to CNN.com, Joyner took and passed 11 drug tests in 1988 alone.
Joyner remained involved in athletics in her retirement. She was appointed co-chair of the President's Council on Physical Fitness in 1993 and went on to establish her own foundation for children in need. Nearly six years after the Seoul Olympics, in 1995, Joyner was honored with an induction into the Track and Field Hall of Fame. Around this time, she once again began training for the Olympics. But her comeback effort was curtailed by problems with her right Achilles tendon.
Joyner died unexpectedly of an epileptic seizure on September 21, 1998, at her home in Mission Viejo, California. She was only 38 years old at time and was survived by her husband and their daughter, Mary Joyner. Remarkably, more than 30 years later, Joyner still holds the world records in the 100- and 200-meter events, with times of 10.49 seconds and 21.34 seconds, respectively.

Her daughter, Apple, had the most hilarious reaction to the Instagram pic.
Gwyneth Paltrow celebrated her 48th birthday in the best possible way—she stripped completely naked and posed for a stunning Instagram photo.
Thanking fans for their birthday wishes, Paltrow posed for the flawless, and jaw-dropping picture, which she shared on social media. The Goop founder captioned the incredible snap, "In nothing but my birthday suit today... thank you all so much for the birthday wishes and thank you to @goop 's insanely amazing brand new body butter for making me think I can still get my kit off. 💙 #goopgenes."
Basically, this is the very definition of "I'll have what she's having."
Paltrow's daughter, Apple Martin, was quick to respond with a hilarious comment.
Paltrow has been open about aging , and the techniques she uses to take care of her skin. In a makeup-free selfie posted on Instagram, the actress revealed, "Dealing with aging is a multi-layered experience. I take good care of my skin, hydrate and exercise, but sometimes a girl needs a little extra help."
Speaking to BAZAAR earlier this year, Paltrow discussed what she typically eats in a day . "I'm not a big breakfast person," Paltrow explained. "I'm usually eating for lunch stuff that you would see on the Goop website."
She continued, "Like a salad with some protein, or sometimes they're testing something really fun for detox, like they're using jicama for taco shells. They'll do a really clean version of a turkey burger with some kind of great sauce. It's very healthy and wrapped in lettuce or something like that."

It did not take long for her fans to jump in on the post and show their appreciation for her beauty and delightful look in the pictures with their likes and comments.

Biles' post comes a couple of days after she announced that she would star in a docu-series that follows her journey to the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo.
Fans can watch the series titled "Simone vs. Herself" on Facebook Live. It is scheduled to begin airing later in the year. Speaking about the docu-series, Biles said she does not think people get her training intensity or know much about her life.
The gymnast said they would see that she lives a normal life in addition to the rigorous training she does to keep her fitness level at its peak while getting ready for the Olympic Games.
Despite the COVID-19 pandemic hampering preparations, Biles' fans, knowing her for who she is, are confident that she will be in perfect shape when the Olympic Games begin later in the year.
If any of them needed a reminder, she provided it when she showed off her toned abs and legs while clad in a swimsuit in a picture she shared on Instagram late last month.
Biles also reminded her fans of her skills in June last year when she displayed a stunning move that no one has ever done before, showing that her only competition is herself. The countdown to the Olympic Games is on!
