Flashing Instructions - Tapas/Topaz

Prerequisites:

• Unlocked bootloader
• Custom recovery installed (Orangefox or TWRP)
• ADB and Fastboot tools on your PC
• At least 50% battery
• Backup of your important data

Instructions:

Clean Flash - No SD Card

• Flash Firmware (Before or After flashing the rom is fine):
• Latest global for Tapas
• 1.0.4 Regional for Topaz
• Flash ROM.zip
• Format Data

Rooting (Optional)

- Reboot to Recovery

- Flash Patched Kernel or Magisk (Depending on you)

- Format data

• Reboot to System (Slot A only !!)

Clean Flash - With SD Card

• Format Data if encrypted
• Flash Firmware (Before or After flashing the rom is fine):
• Latest global for Tapas
• 1.0.4 Regional for Topaz
• Flash ROM.zip
• Format Data

- If you want to root, check the previous instructions ↑↑

• Reboot to System (Slot A only !!)

Fastboot

• Extract ROM .zip
• Run the flash script (windows bat file)
• wait for it to finish and reboot
• Rooting needs recovery ! (or if you have patched init_boot then flash that through fastbootd after first boot)
