This Privacy Policy describes how the BetFlag mobile app (the "App") works with respect to user data. The application does not collect or process users' personal information, with the exception of locally stored training data entered by the user himself.

The data we collect
3.1 Local user data
The history of running workouts: date, time of the workout (duration recorded by the timer), distance (entered manually by the user).
This data is stored only on your device and is not transmitted to external servers.
3.2 Data that we do not collect
Name, email address, phone number, and other personal identifiers.
Geolocation and contacts from the address book.
Photos/videos, payment and financial data.
Unique device identifiers, behavioral and analytical profiles.
Using an external API
The app receives news materials via NewsAPI (newsapi.org ) to display current sports news inside the App.
Requests to the external API are sent to receive public news information.
User training data is not transmitted to the API.
4.1 What the NewsAPI collects
According to their privacy policy (newsapi.org/privacy ), each time the API is accessed, the service can automatically collect the technical data of the request.:
The IP address of the device/server making the request.
Cookies and usage data.
Timestamps and HTTP headers (including information about the browser/OS).
Data about which resources are requested and how the service is used.
This technical data is collected by the external service itself as part of the API provision and stored according to the NewsAPI rules. We do not manage these processes and are not their operator.
4.2 Important clarifications
The technical collection of NewsAPI data occurs automatically at the network interaction level and cannot be canceled by our side.
The personal training data that you enter in the App is not sent to NewsAPI.
Data usage purposes
5.1 Local training data
Maintaining a history of runs and displaying statistics in the interface.
The data remains on the user's device and is used only inside the Application.
5.2 External API Data
Receiving and displaying news materials in the sports news section.
Data storage
6.1 Local storage
The training history is stored only on your device.
When you delete an Application, the local data is deleted along with it.
6.2 Storage by external services
The technical data of the requests is stored and processed by NewsAPI on their side, in accordance with their privacy policy.
Transfer of data to third parties
We do not share your training/personal data with your third parties.
Technical information about news requests is transmitted automatically to NewsAPI when their API is accessed (see section 4).
Safety
Connections to external services are made using the secure HTTPS protocol.
We minimize the processed data and do not request redundant information.
Access to local data is protected by the security mechanisms of your OS.
User Rights
Access: You can view your workout history in the App.
Deletion: You can delete the App; this will delete the local data from the device.
If you have any questions about your rights regarding the data processed by NewsAPI, please refer to their privacy policy (newsapi.org/privacy ).
Policy changes
We may update this Policy. We will inform you about significant changes by updating the Application. By continuing to use it, you confirm your agreement with the updated version.
Additional disclosure
By using the App, you understand that when receiving news through an external API newsapi.org The API provider itself automatically collects and processes technical data in accordance with its rules. We do not control and are not responsible for the data processing practices of external services.
Android App Permissions
Our application requires the following Android permissions to function properly:
INTERNET Permission
- Purpose: Required for making API requests
- Usage: Enables the app to retrieve current sports news and event schedules from NewsAPI
- Data Access: This permission allows network communication but does not grant access to any personal data stored on your device
These permissions are essential for the core functionality of retrieving and displaying sports content. No personal information is accessed or transmitted through these permissions.
