GE Profile Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator
Like the name suggests, the GE Profile series targets the consumer who wants to incorporate cutting-edge technologies into their kitchen. This fridge is loaded with features, from an in-the-door Keurig K-cup coffee maker to a sophisticated water dispenser. But these flourishes don't mask mediocre performance, especially in the refrigerator's freezer and an ineffective temperature-controlled drawer. The refrigerator is expensive and I was expecting better.
Apart from that minor flaw, this fridge is a great option. It has a huge freezer compartment which is uncommon for counter-depth French-door fridges. It also holds a lot of frozen food items compared to other models.
Inside the fridge, there are 17 shelves and compartments. The refrigerator compartment has 18.5 cubic feet of space, which is roughly on the same as an French door refrigerator that costs this much. It also has a decent sized ice maker in the left-hand door, although it's not the biggest I've seen.
You can adjust the shelves in both compartments for an individual storage solution. The interior design of the GE PYE22PYNFS also looks attractive. The LED lighting adds a nice feature. The bins for storage inside come with a third shelf that can be folded down to store tall items. The drawers have temperature controls so that you can set them to Beverage, Meat or Deli settings. They're easy to open and close, but I found their textured plastic coatings to be a little difficult on the fingers.
The GE PGE29BYTFS Smart Refrigerator comes with all the features you'd expect from a refrigerator within this price range. This includes Wi-Fi, app support and GE's SmartHQ Software. The app is available on iOS and Android devices and lets you manage your refrigerator from anywhere around the world. It also comes with many options for customization. It will also send notifications when the door is left unlocked, when the fridge or freezer needs to be defrosted, and when the filter has to be changed.
It would be nice if GE PYE22PYNFS offered Precise fill, an option available in a handful of GE refrigerators that allow users to set the number of cups they would like to dispense. It does offer a countdown on the display of the fridge to display how much water have left, but it's not as useful as Precise Fill.
Bosch Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator
The Bosch French-door Refrigerator is a striking piece. It's designed to appear like it's a seamless component of your kitchen. The fridge uses fingerprint-resistant stainless steel, which is a great feature for busy households. It also has a vegetable compartment which keeps vegetables and fruits fresher for longer and dual compressors to preserve food items. The Ice maker is among the top we've tested and produces a pyramid-shaped Ice with low water consumption. This refrigerator is ideal for a single household or a kitchenette with an attractive design and top of the best food preservation.
This fridge was the top-rated refrigerator in our Refrigerators test for various reasons. The temperature of the freezer remained constant at just above 0° Fahrenheit and never changed by more than a fraction, this is essential to avoid the risk of a freezer burn. The refrigerator section of the fridge also did well. It reached the temperature it was set within an hour, and maintained the temperature throughout our testing.
Bosch has a reputation for top-of-the-line appliances, so it's no surprise that this counter-depth refrigerator is also a smart appliance that has the option of connecting to your home Wi-Fi and Bosch's Home Connect platform. This app lets you monitor and control your fridge from your smartphone or tablet. The fridge is expensive, but it offers top-quality features and functions for the cost.
While the fridge is an incredible appliance but it's important to be aware of the limitations. You may need to get creative with tall objects because the fridge has a small shelf space. Additionally the shelves aren't sprillproof and can be easily damaged or stained by sharp objects. The trays can be easily removed from the fridge. However, they should be cleaned regularly to prevent the growth of mold.

LG Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator
The LG LRFLC2706S counter-depth refrigerator is a great choice for those who need lots of space within a small frame. It has a sleek, fingerprint-resistant stainless-steel finish and features thick handles that make them comfortable to grip. Inside, the fridge has an ordinary French-door design with gallon-sized door bins on each door and two rows of shelves for spill-capture and a set crisper drawers. The top right shelf can be folded down to give tall items more room. You'll also find a full-width deli drawer and an internal water dispenser.

They have sunken handles on the front, which allow smaller people to open them from the bottom, but they're not easy for taller people to pull closed without slamming the doors. It would have been more effective if they had handles mounted on the front.
The LG Counter-Depth MAX is a good option for those looking to combine the advantages of a fridge with a French door with an efficient layout. Its capacity is above average for counter-depth models and also cools evenly. It's also a bit less than the best counter-depth refrigerators that have an ice maker, which can make it a desirable choice.
Frigidaire Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator
This Frigidaire French door refrigerator is a good option if you want a French-door fridge that doesn't break the budget. It's a basic fridge that may not be as appealing as some of its competitors however it has enough features to make a an excellent option. Its most important feature, the temperature adjustable drawer, helps to keep food items like vegetables and meat fresher longer. It also comes with a huge ice maker as well as a water dispenser.
Another nice feature is the "Chill Drawer" that sits above the two crisper bins. This drawer lets you redirect some of the refrigerator's cooling power directly into this area, which means you can put away food items that require extra attention. You can adjust this feature by using a slider that's located right in the middle of the drawer. You can also alter the general cooling settings for the entire fridge. I've noticed that the general settings are more effective than the specific ones.
During my tests, I discovered that the temperatures of the refrigerator were fairly consistent in various parts of the refrigerator. The temperatures in the top, bottom and middle of the refrigerator did not differ significantly from 38 degrees. This is a solid performance, but isn't quite at the top of our ratings.
This fridge has a few other neat features, including a temperature-monitoring display that alerts you to fluctuations and provides a forecast for the day ahead. This fridge can be paired with a smart thermostat to obtain more precise readings of the internal temperature of your fridge.
The exterior of the Frigidaire is made of grey-bodied stainless that has a "smudge proof" finish. It does an excellent job of preventing streaks and fingerprints from appearing even when compared to the glossier stainless steel finishes on other appliances I've tried.
