1. Baby Jogger City Tour 2 Double

The City Tour 2 Double stroller is the smallest of the Baby Jogger range. It's designed for travel and easily fits through standard doorways with its ultra-narrow design, it's also one of the lightest double buggies that are available, weighing only 14lbs when folded. It's perfect for traveling with a newborn and toddler as you won’t over-exceed airline baggage allowances. It also folds up to the size of a backpack so that you can put it away in the back of your car when it's not in use.
It's simple to fold the Z-shape with one hand. Once you've gotten used to it, it is small and takes only a few minutes. However our tester found the auto lock to be a bit confusing and as the handlebar doesn't lock to its place when you press it, it landed on her legs when she was using it. She also thought the handlebar was on the short side. This is especially the case when a large change bag is hanging from it.
In contrast to other travel buggies that are lightweight it doesn't sacrifice features and is one of the most comprehensive double strollers that are available. It is compatible with two carrycots (available separately) and has multiple recline positions, and an UV 50+ canopy. You can add a bassinet on either or both seats to make this an all-in-one travel system.
The four wheels made of rubber are ideal for pavements as well as urban terrain however they're not made for off-roading. They slid on long grass and gravel, and there isn't much clearance between the wheel and bracket so mud was able to get stuck easily. It is not as easy to use on public transport since it requires two hands to hold the handlebar. It's also heavy and can't be stuffed into a standard car boot with the seat attached, but this can be overcome by careful planning. iCandy include a footmuff, changing bag and car seat adapters in the price, making this an excellent value for parents who are new.

The 360 swivel wheel on the front can be locked for easier manoeuvring around the city, and the single pedal brake is easy to use.
Our test participants found that the Nipper Double was incredibly easy to manoeuvre, even when taking on uneven ground or when turning swiftly in the middle of a busy street. The fact that the seats can be reclined independently was also an enormous hit.
The hoods were also simple to adjust for sun or wind protection. Our testers did find however that they didn't offer an extensive amount of coverage as something like the Baby Jogger City Mini hoods which is why it's recommended to bring a rain jacket just in case.
Overall, our testers were impressed by the Nipper double's ability allow them to take their twin daughters Sydney and Lyla to all sorts of adventures. From exploring the forest for wildlife or rushing to a park for a playdate, they loved it. The testers were also awed by how comfortable and spacious the two seats are. There's plenty of room to stretch out for toddlers who are growing. Our test participants did not agree, however, that the lack of parent-facing seating and the inability of using car seats in this buggy were a problem and they would like to see more storage space for shopping and other equipment.
