This is really a question for everyone, actually.

How was your first experience with Anal sex? (guys or girls may answer, please it's great to get both opinions). Was it uncomfortable? At all pleasurable for either of you? How was the topic brought up?

With my boyfriend, we immediately put it down that anal sex was a no; he said he wouldn't want to try and I said I'd probably hate it ..however, I recently found out that one of my good friends has been doing anal with her boyfriend for quite a while and said that while she doesn't completely enjoy it, she knows he does and does it for him.

So, I was wondering if any of you guys do it purely because your partner enjoys it, even if you don't? Also, what's the prep like, does it hurt? Is it messy?

Noob questions, tbh, but I'm really interested in this now because, while I know I wouldn't particularly enjoy it, I know that if my boyfriend expressed an interest, I would probably try it for him at least once. (We're one of those couples who like to experiment).

So yes, what was your first experience with anal sex like? Did you enjoy it? What made you try it out? and details please (nothing too explicit, of course).

Well he went for (I was unprepared), he pulled out...and it wasn't pretty.

Oh no, I don't feel pressured or anything, I was just interested in the subject. I mean, when he's behind and stuff, sometimes he kind of prods there, but realises it's the wrong place and goes back down ( ) and neither of us are too bothered by it, but I was just wondering what other people's experiences were like.

I suppose it's an experience to be had. I dunno whether I will actually do it, I doubt it, but it is an interesting subject

When anal sex is done properly, the sphincter should not be stretched, but relaxed. An activity which is perfectly natural and functional to this muscle, every time you take a ****. Crudely put, some of which will be significantly larger than a ****.
There is even an idea (not proven) that anal sex will improve the functionality of the anal muscles as it enables the receiver to learn and practice control of these muscles.

However, I do not wish to be biased. I believe that weakening of the sphincter is possible if girls/men receiving it are not relaxing, but stretching their anal sphincters. You have to learn to relax the muscle (when it's response to outside pressure is to tighten/contract), and so I think a cautious and patient approach is best if you are going to attempt anal sex.

Without meaning to be unnecessarily crude... I have tried anal sex, and my best tip for this is to make sure that your bowels are emptied in advance, and then when preparing for the anal sex push out as though you are wanting to go to the toilet. And try to kind of remain in that state. Whilst feeling relaxed Ha! Clearly, or at least for me - this is only possible with a partner you trust, in a relaxed situation, and when you are truely happy with attempting this type of sex.

Most of the places I can find that proport the "diapers myth" are religious websites. With a clear agenda.

It may be that you oughtn't to have anal sex with great frequency. Some studies have found no difference in sphincter functionality, others claim to have found a difference. I tend to think that there is a certain bias in some studies, aiming to prove that this kind of sex is necessarily harmful, but this may source from some bias of my own.

Probably the greatest dangers of anal sex are the tearing of the thinner and more delicate membrane of the rectum, which could lead to something quite nasty as the area is hardly sterile.. And the transmission of disease (again to do with the differences in the membrane, I believe).

Anal sex can be dangerous, but only (I believe) if you do not take the time to relax sufficiently, if there is pain (or if you have used something to numb potential pain), or if not enough lube has been used. OR if you have some already present disease or injury to the anus/rectum.
Also note that without a condom, it is still possible to get pregnant (the anus and vagina aren't too far from one another), and that moving from the anus to the vagina without a good clean or change inbetween would be a foolish maneouvre. Also, it is safer for your boyfriend to wear a condom rather than expose his penis to the bacteria present in your bum

To the OP, you may be interested in the above, but also:

Speaking from experience, I have tried anal sex. Discussed beforehand though, and totally prepped. Me and my boyfriend do it ocassionally.

I find it quite pleasurable, but I don't ever feel like doing it (for myself) So, I do do it as a favour for my boyfriend.. but I also rather enjoy it myself, once we've gotten started.

I have found it painful only on once or two occassions, where we stopped straight away. The important thing is to not engage in anal sex if you are not confident enough to tell your partner if it is uncomfortable or painful for you. Because you shouldn't continue (or begin, whichever) if it is.

All this about regret - pah! Either you're like that or not - if you don't think there's anything wrong with anal sex, I can't see why you would just because you'd had it. And if you do there's something wrong with it, then don't do it.
Whether or not you will enjoy it is a different matter. I'm sure it probably isn't for everyone. The sensation is, if I am honest, somewhat reminiscent of emptying your bowels, but actually quite nice instead.

Do what you are comfortable with. But do it safely.
