26-year-old painter Emma Lindström creates colorful swirls of awesomeness using a combination of acrylic and spraypaint. Though the artist is from Sweden, her work feels as though it came from an entirely different galaxy. Her paintings are nothing short of celestial — though the colors change piece to piece, she maintains the same galactic visuals that transcends our Earthly imaginations.
When it all comes down to it, my main goal is obviously to evoke some kind of emotion. Hopefully you can find something in my work that speaks to your inner self and the light that resides there…no matter what emotion you might get, the important thing is just that you are feeling something.

Dreaded hand in day!!!!
I organised my folder and had to animate last minute!!! had a bit of stress with putting the clothes on the model and the paint on the silicone.
but threw thick and thin i managed to animate and organise before hand in!
Unfortunately my mentor project will have to be animated on the monday as everything is organised for the folder but i have no time to animate on the hand in day.
I de-moulded my models created the first half of my split mould.
All hoping for it to go well !!!
On this side of the mould i used a mould release spray which worked well on large areas but not so much on the smaller areas and lost some of the fingers because of this.
on the opposite section i will try and use liquid vaseline and hope for better results.
My mould was drying and then I de- moulded him on 28th.
This process was a slow and tedious process and i wish that i didn’t have a down period where i did no work.
I worked on my mentor behind the scenes as well in this period.
I worked on PolyMorph, Silicone and plasticine and friendly plastic.
I loved working with polymorph it was easy to use along with plasticine.
I did not like using the friendly plastic as much as it was difficult to use cutters with this material.
I re did silicone with release agent on the moulds and had better results.
I finished the clothes after having a few weeks where i was in a very low place and trying to get help for this.
Once the clothes had finished I started spraying the model with varnish so that the air drying clay would be protected this lasted over a few days and he was fully dry by the 21st so i could move forward and make the model mould.

I finished created the head and that cleared by Nathan and agreed on the character of Raven, we also agreed that I may only be able to make one character instead of three.
I also finished my clothing sketches and had the design ideas agreed on, so i could move forward and make clothing for the model.
I attached the head on the model.
I started creating the clothes.
Using latex was interesting as I tried two techniques one was to layer the latex in the mould and the other was to pour it directly in the mould.
I also had to research how to remove the latex from paint brushes which was helpful so i didn’t waste loads of paint brushes.
Layering worked well for drying faster, the filled moulds took a very longer time to dry.
Today I created the right arm and leg.
the leg section was pretty easy to create but the arm was more difficult as the parts of the arm were separate.
the images below are of the completed left side.
I attached the front and backs of the upper chest and groin and backside regions together. this was fun and challenging to do.
I plan on doing the arm and leg then created the behind the scenes of the other side as well.
Today i went for my interview with Salford for the Animation course they had which i was worried would be mainly digital, which unfortunately it was mainly digital.
The course was interesting, its just a shame it was majority digital.
The image below is from when i got to my interview early and looked up and was the design on the build and it amused me looking at the building from the chair so i photographed it.
