Finished Composing Foreign Players
The SSG club announced on the 17th that "Eredia signed a total of $1.5 million ($150,000 down payment, $1.15 million annual salary, $200,000 option), and Elias signed a total of $1 million ($100,000 down payment, $650,000 annual salary, and $250,000 option).
SSG completed the formation of foreign players in the 2024 season with Robert Duggar (28), a newly recruited foreign pitcher last month.
Heredia played in 122 games this year and ranked among the top in various batting indicators. She had a batting average of 0.323 (ranking fifth in the league), 153 hits (ranked eighth), 12 homers, 76 RBIs and an OPS (on-base plus slugging) of 0.846 (ranked 10th in the league). She also received the outfielder award in the KBO defense award with the 10 most Bodhisattvas in the league.
Elias wore the SSG uniform as a substitute in May this year. He kept the mound with eight wins, six losses and 131 ⅓ innings with an ERA of 3.70.
They will join the Florida spring camp scheduled for February next year.
The SSG club said, "The two foreign players re-signed because they judged that they had adapted to the team and Korean life with good professionalism as well as excellent skills."
