About the Opportunity
We are seeking experienced Equity Research and Investment Analysts to support a project focused on advanced financial analysis, modeling, valuation, and sector research. You’ll apply your expertise to evaluate real-world equity research workflows and help improve how AI systems analyze financial markets and investment opportunities.
No prior AI experience is required — your equity research expertise is what matters.
Key Responsibilities
* Review and evaluate datasets representing real-world equity research analysis.
* Analyze earnings reports, estimate revisions, and peer benchmarking.
* Evaluate company models covering revenue, margins, cash flow, and valuation drivers.
* Produce concise research summaries and event-driven updates.
* Develop and articulate investment theses using qualitative and quantitative analysis.
* Identify key industry trends, sector metrics, and company catalysts.
* Provide feedback on research data quality and improve financial analysis content.
Required Qualifications
* Extensive experience in equity research, including direct ownership of company models and written research.
* Experience covering multiple companies across several earnings cycles.
* Strong financial modeling, earnings analysis, valuation, and peer benchmarking skills.
* Ability to connect business drivers, financial outcomes, and valuation.
* Deep expertise in at least one industry sector.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Experience developing and defending investment theses and research views.
Preferred Qualifications
* Background as a Sell-Side Research Associate, Research Analyst, VP, or Director.
* Experience independently maintaining comprehensive company models.
* Strong expertise in event-driven research and earnings analysis.
* Proven ability to provide specialist sector insights and high-quality investment research.
Compensation
* Competitive compensation of $175–$300/hour.
* Independent contractor engagement.
* Approximately 25 positions available.
