Role Description The Finance Officer is a part-time, remote role responsible for overseeing core financial processes that support COLLECTORstudios’ production and operational activities. Day-to-day tasks include preparing, reviewing, and maintaining financial statements, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and assisting with cash flow monitoring. The role involves managing financial reporting for internal stakeholders, tracking project-related expenses and revenues, and helping ensure accurate and timely documentation for audits and compliance. The Finance Officer will collaborate with production and leadership teams to provide clear financial insights, contribute to financial planning, and recommend improvements to financial processes and controls.
Qualifications
* Candidates should possess strong finance and analytical skills, including experience with budgeting, forecasting, and data analysis.
* Candidates should possess skills in financial statements and financial reporting, with the ability to prepare, interpret, and explain key financial documents.
* Candidates should possess clear and professional communication skills, including the ability to present financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
* Experience with accounting or finance software, spreadsheets, and basic financial modeling is beneficial.
* Prior experience in media, production, or creative industries is an advantage but not required.
* Relevant education in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
* Strong attention to detail, reliability in meeting deadlines, and comfort working independently in a remote environment.
