We are supporting a fast-growing international ecommerce business operating across multiple entities and markets. Following significant growth in recent years, the company is now focused on strengthening its financial operations, improving reporting visibility, and building scalable processes to support its next phase of expansion. You will work closely with senior finance leadership and gain exposure across accounting, reporting, systems, and process-improvement initiatives that have a direct impact on the business.
About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Finance & Accounting Analyst to support the day-to-day financial operations of the business while contributing to reporting, reconciliations, systems improvement, and finance transformation projects. This role combines operational accounting responsibilities with analytical and process-focused work, making it ideal for someone who enjoys both execution and problem-solving. The successful candidate will work closely with the Controller and support finance activities across multiple international entities.
Responsibilities
* Financial Operations
* Perform bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
* Process supplier invoices and support accounts payable activities
* Assist with customer invoicing and accounts receivable follow-up
* Support month-end close activities across multiple entities
* Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation
* Assist with intercompany reconciliations and balance reviews
* Reporting & Analysis
* Support the preparation of monthly management reporting
* Assist with P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reporting
* Investigate financial variances and unusual movements
* Help improve reporting accuracy and consistency across the business
* Support data validation and financial analysis initiatives
* Systems & Process Improvement
* Identify opportunities to improve finance workflows and controls
* Support reporting automation and process optimisation initiatives
* Assist with reconciliation and integration of data across multiple systems
* Contribute to process documentation and standardisation efforts
* Help build scalable finance processes that support future growth
* Projects & Business Support
* Assist with finance transformation and optimisation projects
* Support historical reviews and data cleanup initiatives when required
* Assist with audit requests and information gathering
* Contribute to ad hoc analysis and business projects
* Support ongoing improvements to finance operations and reporting
What Success Looks Like
Within your first 12 months, you will:
* Become a trusted member of the finance team across multiple entities
* Improve the accuracy and visibility of financial reporting and reconciliations
* Help streamline month-end close and reporting processes
* Contribute to automation and process-improvement initiatives
* Support the business with reliable financial information and insights
Qualifications & Experience
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
* 3+ years of experience in accounting, finance, audit, controlling, or a related field
* Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial controls, and reconciliation processes
* Experience supporting monthly and annual close activities
* Experience working with multiple systems, data sources, and financial reports
* Experience in ecommerce, retail, multi-entity, or international businesses is advantageous
* Professional Accountant qualification (Contador Público) is highly preferred
* Knowledge of IFRS accounting standards is advantageous
Technical Skills
* Strong Excel and/or Google Sheets skills
* Experience with accounting systems such as QuickBooks, Xero, Holded, NetSuite, or similar
* Comfortable working across multiple platforms, integrations, and digital tools
* Experience supporting financial reporting, reconciliations, and management reporting processes
* Interest in reporting automation, process optimisation, and systems improvement
* Experience with Shopify, business intelligence tools, reporting platforms, or financial automation initiatives is a plus

Pay range and compensation package
$24,000 - $36,000 annual gross (based on experience) + performance bonus
