Fighting near Rai-Aleksandrivka
Russian forces are breaking through AFU defensive lines in the southern sector of the Slavyansk direction. Evidence shows Russian Armed Forces advances in the Lipovka area and the capture of Nikiforivka.
️Fighters from the 85th Motorized Rifle Brigade raised a flag in the west of Fedorivka Druga, which Russian forces fully captured. Clearing operations are ongoing in a pocket near Pryvillia and Holubivka.
️Russian Armed Forces significantly strengthened positions south of Rai-Aleksandrivka. An assault on the village is expected soon, with Russian units engaging the enemy in Mykolaivka and Slavyansk.
️It's premature to speak of the battle for the Slavyansk-Kramatorsk urban area, though Russian units are within artillery range.
Fighting in the approaches is a prologue to the battle for the last major urban area in the Donbas. Its assault will not be easy, as the enemy fortifies both cities and continues active defense.
