So, the 2nd movie of the SOS Barracuda series was aired yesterday.
From the description and pictures, there were surely male scuba scenes in it.
But luckily, there is a female scuba scene in it as well in the very beginning of the flick!
Also longer and much more interesting than the tiny scuba scene in the first one:
The scuba scenes were oddly edited together with some scenes at the airport, so I edited that stuff out of the video as it was most annoying during the scuba scene.
This was the only female scuba scene in the movie.
Ok, as much as I love to see some frogwomen in peril, there is SO much going wrong in this scene!
However, as much there is to criticize, I do like the scene. Certainly a nice, odd addition to the collection.
And in general, it’s never wrong to have a scene where oxygen is escaping like that. The audio alone is……
They are using scuba gear from Mares. Whenever the whole lettering is visible it gets blurred, so you can’t really see it very well.
Although you know in any case that “Mares” is lettered there.
Especially in other scenes, it’s most obvious that they tried to hide the fact that this is Mares equipment (very unsuccessful though! )
My only explanation is that Mares was perhaps ashamed of being involved in this movie?
Perhaps they thought it would be bad publicity…..
In another 2 weeks, the next movie is shown and then I can make a longer cut with improved picture quality of this one:

I thought about this one for a while now as some folks recommended this one over the years. Thanks for that!
As available material and taste changes over the years….it’s now time to post it as I think many of you might like these scenes more than I do.
Perhaps you have a hunch why I didn’t upload this one until now.
I really love the storyline and the hideous villainess plot! Kidnapping that beautiful woman, putting her in scuba gear and a sexy wetsuit, and then tying her up underwater.
But I do have quite a lot of problems with how they presented it.
First of all, the camera is so far away most of the time! It’s hard to really see her. And underwater it’s rather murky so you can’t get a good look on her…a real shame!
Some closeups of her in distress as she realizes her situation, fighting against her restrains, breathing faster and faster….that would have been great!
Also, I would have discarded the whole bomb plot. Just let her air run out as the time limit.
And the end is very odd. She is more or less unconscious when she is finally at the surface. Why? Did she run out of air after all? If yes, why didn’t the hero gave her air?
And then the odd cutting as suddenly her father is in the boat as the hero is in a real hurry to leave. Strange.
In my version, she would wear a full wetsuit like the male divers. But once again the female divers in a movie need to show more skin as they think it will make them more attractive.
But ok, I guess many think like that.
Thanks to a nice guy on a forum I was pointed towards a youtube video in which I learned that there is a documentary TV special “The Incredible World of James Bond” from 1965 to promote the Bond movies and to keep the hype up about the franchise who was at an all-time high back then.
There seems to be quite a lot of Thunderball behind the scenes snippets in it, so I would LOVE to see the whole thing!
I tried any source to get my hands on this documentary, but no luck.
So, has anybody perhaps an idea where to get it?
It wasn’t ever released on any media as I think. Perhaps it was put as a special on a DVD or Blu-ray of a James Bond movie, but I haven’t found any proof of that.

You may have seen my post from early January about the german SOS Barracuda movie series (more info there on this movie series).
After nearly 20 years a first movie was now aired again on german pay-TV. I actually thought I would never see any of these movies.
But yesterday I saw the movie “Der Mädchenjäger” from the series. The next one will be shown in 2 weeks.
From a preview I didn’t expect any scuba or wetsuit scenes from this movie, but actually, there were some scenes in it worth showing.
Yeah, not much, but I think that some of you may like these scenes, especially the short scuba scene. These are ALL the scenes with her in a wetsuit.
For me being able to watch these scenes after all this time is already half the fun. And infamous german actress/tv scandal maker… Nadja Abd el Farrag (nickname Naddel) looks really good in a wetsuit, even they could have shown more from her.
Her short scuba scene (most likely a stunt diver) was nice to have, even it was rather odd, to say at least, to build it in. Where did she appear from? He runs around the beach and she just shows up, completely dry(!!!!) in her wetsuit and spear gun…..who came up with that scene????
The movie itself is hard to watch, with many odd scenes and it shows that it is a TV movie.
Young, hot single women who arrive alone at the airport in Palma de Mallorca get picked up by an old hag who offers them a cheap room in her guesthouse. She then recommends a nice beach to them where some “stallion” approaches them. He then lures these girls to some spot where he can chloroform them. They awake on a yacht and the plan is to sell them to some Arab guy.
But the heroic german police crew who operates in Spanish Mallorca in some sort of cooperation, won’t let that happen of course, and luckily they have a hyper-fast big yacht at their disposal!?!
The henchmen are -more or less- cartoon figures and have their “fun” with the kidnapped girls. The scriptwriter really liked to add quite a lot of “women in peril” scenes into the movie.
Looking forward to the next movie in 2 weeks. It’s confirmed that there is at least one scuba scene in it, but it’s not clear if any women are in these scene.
But if so, you will get another post about that one in 2 weeks.
If they keep the running order, the famous movie “Tränen der Kleopatra” will be shown in 4 weeks.
Really excited about that one, as the full movie would be really great, especially with this sort of picture quality.
The scene I posted was an old VHS recording…. and I would love to make a quality upgrade which would incl. all the female scuba and wetsuit scenes.
I saw a trailer for this one a couple of months ago and now I finally saw the movie.
In this new german movie we have a happy couple going scuba diving in a big reservoir.
But the dive doesn’t go as planned….
*EDIT* This is now the short version, since Youtube blocked my earlier video due to “nudity”….which is SO completely bizarre! There is nothing to see. Yeah, he opens her wetsuit to revive her, but again, there is nothing shown there. Is reviving somebody now something sexual for Yotube? Verrrrrry strange…..

Well, I guess most of you think: WTF? What is going on there???
Yeah, I thought the same as I watched it. As I finished watching the movie things became much clearer. But still there are quite a few mysteries about certain scenes from the movie.
This movie has some fantasy elements, the frogwoman in this scene IS actually some sort of water spirit called “Undine” (an old myth you may check on google).
But why she is pulled away by the fish and why the guy never even asks about what happened….I can’t tell you.
And also, when she is a water spirit, she may not need the scuba gear. I guess she puts it on so she can keep her secret in front of her boyfriend. But why does she nearly drowns when she is a water spirit….I don’t know. Perhaps she was just pretending to give him the opportunity to “save” her and thereby be her hero.
I really like the close up shots of the frogwoman and her classic vintage (or vintage style) scuba mask. The reviving scene is done quite good and is pretty sexy.
Sadly it was her only scuba scene in the movie. He is seen underwater quite more often as he is an industrial diver. Then he uses rather heavy gear of course.
Am I the only one who think he looks like a german version of Joaquin Phoenix?

S.O.S. Barracuda is a german series consisting out of 8 movies made from 1997 to 2002.

During the summer of 2018 I heard that there was a rather fantastic scene (with some flaws) in one of the movies.
But I thought I would probably never see it. These movies weren’t shown since the early 2000’s in german TV and there are no DVD/Blu-ray releases.
Then I made a request for it on my blog.
I was very lucky to get videos files from a friendly guy who read my request about these movies.
I subscribed to an email-alert that I would get if these movies ever would be shown again here in german TV.
Since, as I said, the movies weren’t shown for over 15 years….I had very little hope that they would ever be shown again.
But yesterday I got such an email alert….. …I was quite shocked….in a good way
On January 23 a first movie of that show is shown on “RTL Passion” (german pay TV).
Oddly enough they show movie number 3…at first.
At my place where I have cable….I can’t get that channel, even I would want to.
I would love to get recordings of all 8 movies.
AS I understand only 2 or 3 have scuba content in it.
But I want all of them in a good quality.
Especially that one with the epic scuba drowning!!!!
Hopefully the channel will show all of them….
I will try to figure out if there is a way in which I could get these movies in nice quality files.
Has anyone experience in recording from a TV airing? In a way that you would have a quality file on the computer afterwards?
I have a digital recorder which I use to record movies all the time. But they are then on that recorder and can’t be moved to anywhere else.
I also have an older recorder with DVD drive, which I could use to get it to the computer….but as I said, I can’t get that channel so….both recorders are not an option in this case.
Perhaps getting it from a streaming site would be an option…
I hope someone here can help with advice!

Well, I really hope that they will air all these 8 movies, especially the ones with female scuba content off course….
Time for some scenes from a movie that is more than 65 years old!
A “gill man” gets captured and placed into a big pool for study and to entertain the visitors of the aqua park.
A woman and a man use some high end scuba gear (for that time) to “train” him.
Of course the gil man gets interested in her and doesn’t want to be chained to the bottom of the pool

These full face scuba masks with radio must have been very high end back in 1955.
But I haven’t seen these in other movies of the time. I guess they had some problems or were very expensive.
The scenes are very interesting even I wish the creature would have wrestled a little longer with her….perhaps even grabing for her scuba mask or air hose.
However it was good to have some scuba peril in this one. Surely one of the earliest scenes like that in (movie-) history.

In this episode of Flipper we have plenty of diving scenes. And they involve a sunken U-boat and nazi gold!
Besides the main scene at the end of the episode I will post here another one that is placed a little earlier in the episode.
Yeah, a nice scuba scene! I like her wetsuit and her FFM.
Also the fact that they get trapped there while the bomb is ticking is a solid peril scenario.
In my version the two would have encountered 3 or 4 evil male and female scuba divers who would want that gold for themselves.
And then an epic scuba battle in the U-boat would begin…..

Today I wanna present another smoking hot video from Vicky Devika!
Some months ago I already presented 5 videos of her where she wore stunning outfits and used all sorts of different scuba masks.
In these videos some great fantasies of mine come to life, and I am sure that many of you will love these videos as well!
Today I wanna present the video “Vintage Double Hose Trial”.
Getting a real double hose scuba regulator has been a dream of mine for such a long time now. I don’t know why, but this idea of being a hot sexy vintage frogwoman just turns me on a lot.
I’m in the process of rebuilding a vintage double hose reg and I just acquired a set of new reproduction hoses and a Voit mouthpiece for it. I was really eager to try the double hose, so I devised a hack to use my old single hose reg as a double hose, and I eagerly jumped in the pool to try it out!!
Watch this very happy frogwoman blowing bubbles and sucking on that vintage double hose regulation, all dressed in tight rubber, with assorted original vintage rubber fins and a vintage oval dive mask by US Divers.

In comparison to the other videos I presented here this video is more “harmless” as she this time “only” dives around without giving herself up to her desires
But it is an awesome video for several reasons:
Vicky + scuba diving + vintage double hose regulator + a stunning latex suit
For me that are more then enough reasons to get this video!
Interestingly this movie seems to be shot in a large hotel pool.
At the beginning you can hear voices for some seconds…. on the headphone at least.
And near the end you see some buildings behind the pool that clearly seem to belong to a hotel complex.
That brings me to some interesting thoughts:
For obvious reasons this video doesn’t show explicit sexual content as the folks from the hotel would call the police…if they would realise what is going on underwater.
Still, even the hotel seems very empty as there are no folks visible in the video….I wonder how it would be to shoot on such a location.
I mean dressing up in latex and using scuba gear in a public pool…..isn’t exactly “normal”, it takes some guts to do it.
I wonder how many folks were there that witnessed the shooting and how they reacted to it.
Even the place was very empty…there must have been some folks who witnessed it as the shooting takes a lot more time than the actual duraction of the video.
Of course I have several ideas on how you could add some more peril to this scenario…..
First of all thanks to the guy who recommended me a video from this TV show and also to Scuba Snooper who uploaded a video from it on youtube!
I asked for the title of the untitled video and not only got the title, but the link for the whole episode!
I checked the whole episode and found a lot more interesting scenes, so I decided to make my own version with all the female scuba scenes below and above the surface.
But enough text for now, let’s start with some pictures:
So, I don’t understand hungarian (surprise!)…but from what I understand of the episode so far…some villains are searching in that lake for treasure.
One of the evil guys turns against the other one and drowns him as he finds something (a rather disappointing scene).
The dead frogman gets found by the police. For some reason the TV shows lead actress get her hands on his wetsuit and starts wearing that mens-suit.
We can clearly see that it doesn’t fit her very good as she is surprising that guy. Logically it’s pretty loose. (DAMN!)
One of the good guys has to help the bad guys in recovering the treasure (the guy in the full face scuba mask).
They decide to get rid of him and closing the valve so he doesn’t get any oxygen while being trapped underwater!
Lucky for him our frogwoman shows up just in time.
But she has to fight off the evil guy in the red wetsuit first. As she is a trained martial arts expert…she uses her elbow to hit him right in the face, seemingly breaking his nose.
Of course there are some minus points. Her wetsuit is way too lose, the visibility is rather bad and the language problem. A shame the villainess doesn’t dive at the end and is only be seen exiting the water in her blue wetsuit very early on. Would have been great to have the two frogwoman fighting against each other at the end of the episode.
But this episode has a LOT to offer! Some great vintage wetsuits and nice diving scenes. Also I like how the villains try to drown that guy, a really hideous way….
The highlight is off course the scuba fight where our frogwoman has to face the evil guy in the red wetsuit! It could have been longer, but I really like the intensity. Filming thorugh her scuba mask for a second or two was an awesome idea! Don’t know why that wasn’t done more often.
Also it’s great that she let out some “grunting” noises to illustrate the intensity of the fight as she has to defend herself against his scuba knife.

Watched this movie a couple of times since a was a teenager.
Not a really good movie….but a very unusual and interesting movie nonetheless.
This movie came out just 3 years after Jaws had been the first blockbuster in the cinema history.
It has a similar topic (evil maneating animals) but with an eco touch to the story.
And the ending is quite surprising, a very rare sort of ending.

Ok, I’m not a fan of divers in shirts….but the other vintage dive gear is quite nice (mask and regulator)!
You can clearly see the handmade effects as the Barracudas attack their prey (they seem to really like her butt ), you can clearly see the plastic or rubber Barracudas they used. Looks rather funny from nowadays point of view, but there was no CGI back in the day and the movie had no big budget.
Interestingly the first (very good) Piranha movie was made in the same year as this one, so you had 2 movies with different killer fishes made in the same year.
