Feral Frequency: Code of Conduct

Feral Frequency: Code of Conduct

Feral Frequency

By attending Feral Frequency, you acknowledge and agree to abide by the code of conduct outlined below.

• Consent Policy

Explicit consent is required at all times during this event. Attendance, attire, consent at prior engagements, and implicit behaviour do not equal active consent for any kind of interaction. You must ask for permission before touching anyone in any capacity, and you must respect someone's refusal of consent without protest. If you are taking photos, please ask for consent of the subjects of the photos (see the next paragraph for more details). If you feel that your consent has been violated, please inform a staff member. Violation of consent is grounds for immediate removal and/or a permanent ban from future events.

• Photography Consent

By attending this event, you acknowledge that you may be photographed by other attendees or the event organizers, and these photos may appear online. You may request removal of photos used for promotional material posted by Feral Frequency, if you are a subject in these photos. We request that any attendees taking photos at this event ask for consent of the immediate subjects of the photographs.

• Prohibited Items

No outside food or beverages are permitted inside the venue. Smoking (including vaping, nicotine products or cannabis) is prohibited indoors, and must be kept to the designated smoking areas. Illegal substances are not permitted at the event. Weapons of any kind, props that resemble weapons, or other items deemed dangerous/disruptive by the Feral Frequency staff are not permitted. Due to limited space, large bags and totes are not permitted.

• Right to Refuse

Feral Frequency reserves the right to remove any attendee from the event, for any reason. Example reasons include behaviour deemed disruptive or dangerous by the staff, or any other violation of the Feral Frequency code of conduct. Feral Frequency and the venue also reserves the right to refuse entry of any person without needing to disclose a reason.

• Limitation of Liability

Neither Feral Frequency, its organizers, nor the venue are responsible for any theft, loss, or damage of personal belongings at the event; nor will they be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from your attendance at the event. The maximum liability for any claims arising from the event will be limited to the amount paid by the attendee for the event ticket.
