Sharp edges at openings, kind a poor finish
Unfortunately not usable as shipped. Many burrs and very sharp edges, also in the cage. You can easily even cut yourself on the sharp corners. Will take lots of sanding and polishing to be usable. If you don’t want to spend that extra hour don’t buy it. If you do it’s still cheap. I have the nano but it’s not as small as you think.

SUPER FAST DELIVERY! sent to Germany, ordered 16/01, shipped out 17/01 and received it 22/01! Never before got an item that fast from AE. Cudos to the store. Quality is ok for it’s price. It has a lot of sharp edges like other reviews also say. But there easily trimmed off with a sharp knive or razor blade. So if you know it and you’re OK with that, then it isn’t really an issue. I also had to sand down a little top (manufacturing) from the tip of the lock. Because, when fitted on and assembled, it didn’t always lock very easy. It just needed a little to much fiddling with it. It may seem like these are big issues, but they really aren’t.. I would recommend this seller alone for it’s fast shipment, but a little work on them is possible to avoid possible shafing.

The product is very comfortable when it’s on, but getting it on is a challannge. As a comparison, I usually use the 2nd smallest ring with my CB6000s while here I need the largest ring. Other problem is the sharp edges on the rings – they don’t bother you while wearing it, but can be a real pain when you try to take it off. Lastly the lock design isnt perfect – after only 2 uses the ring itself stretched and now there is a play between the cage and the ring. Although this is one of the best cages this amount of money can get you!

I had some bad luck with this one. The resin was slightly miscast and the pieces didn’t quite fit, making it very difficult to lock properly.
