Female fat burners are scams!
Casey SobrelleFat burners are an extremely popular subclass of supplements. Fat loss pills might actually be one of the most lucrative supplement markets right now; every summer you can bet that hundreds of thousands of people across Europe and the US turn to fat burners to help them get lean and shredded in time for summer vacation.
Recently, so-called "female fat burners" have started appearing on the shelves. These products are supposedly fat burning supplements designed specifically for women. They are typically marketed to women by promising them help getting "toned" and "slim", which stands in contrast to the language used to sell "normal" fat burners (which typically target men).
But this is misleading marketing. There is no such thing as a "female fat burner". Fat loss is fat loss, and that's the end of it. If something helps men lose fat, it helps women too. Similarly, the effect of fat loss on the physique is the same for men and women - you look more "toned" and "ripped". The words we use to describe these effects differs between the sexes of course, but the phenomenon is the same: less fat, more muscle relative to fat.
