A FEMALE teacher has pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting a 14-year-old student five times in her car in order to put him "out of his misery".
Monica Elizabeth Young, 24, was accused of bombarding the teen with Snapchat messages which said she was "waiting for him" while begging him to send X-rated photos .
Investigators previously said she was charged with assaulting the boy on five separate occasions - including at school and in her car.
The court was also told how she sent pictures of herself along with suggestive messages including one of her lying in bed with the caption “I’m waiting for you.”
Young was due to stand trial in September over allegations she repeatedly sexually assaulted the boy last summer - but pleaded not guilty to a total of 12 charges on February 8.
On Tuesday, she pleaded guilty to three counts of aggravated sexual intercourse with a 14-year-old.
Her barrister Margaret Cunneen SC told District Court Judge Kate Traill: “My client was very anxious to avoid the situation where [the boy] had to endure another weekend of concern about having to do this.
“Because of the time taken to make this decision, that has occurred.
“They were certainly my instructions from Ms Young, to put him out of his misery, as it were, as soon as possible.”
It was previously alleged a piece of CCTV evidence showed Young’s hands moving to the boy’s groin.
In the footage, she also allegedly places the teenager’s hands inside her tights.
Her lawyers previously described the CCTV evidence as being “exaggerated”.
On Tuesday, Young replied “Guilty, your honour” three times as the charges were read out at the Downing Centre District Court in Sydney, Australia, news.com.au reports.
The charges against her were aggravated due to the child being under her authority at the time, the court heard.
She will remain on bail until her sentence hearing, where prosecutor Alexander Terracini said he would argue prison time is “the only option”.
Ms Cunneen SC told the court Ms Young would have psychiatric and psychological reports prepared before she is sentenced.
If convicted of the crime, Young could now face up to 12 years in jail.

It seems that these days instead of going home at the end of the school day in preparation for the next day, while counting down to the weekend, students and teacher would stay after school some frisky extra tutoring . Recently reports of female teachers having explicit sexual relationships with their students are raising . Many cases that grew to be nationwide scandals and some even gain international attention.
An explanation for this is, compared with the previous generation, these days students are more mature and knowledgeable. In addition, teachers, especial the female one are also getting younger and they become more concerned about their look. In fact, most of these educators that you might agree with me are attractive and some could even call hot . Female teachers caught doing extracurricular activities with their pupils .
Before becoming a teacher Sarah Jones was a former Bengals cheerleader. She hooked up with 17-year old York – a student at Dixie Heights High School, where she worked as a teacher. Jones was 27 when she admitted to an illegal sexual relationship with her student. she avoided jail time when she pleaded guilty to felony custodial interference and misdemeanor sexual misconduct for having sexual relations with a minor. She is now engaged to that very same teen she was convicted of an affair with and is in talks to getting her own TV show.
Brianne Altice, 37, a teacher at Davis High school in Kaysville, Utah was behind bars for having an improper sexual relationship with three underage male students. She was first arrested in October 2013 when a 16-year-old student reported having sexual encounters with her in a church parking lot and during school lunch hours. After charges were filed, the two additional 17-year-old victims then came forward. She is now facing 10 felony charges and could spend life in prison. Altice agree that she will never teach again or contact any of her victims and she is willing to undergo sex offender treatment. Altice’s husband decided to divorce her and has custody of their two children following her 2013 arrest.
A 23-year old athletic trainer at Tustin High school Hope Jacoby was accused of having a sexual relationship with male sports students between 14 and 17 years old for about a year. Their affair was confirmed when text message images that had been sent by Jacoby were found on the victim’s phone. Investigators suppose Jacoby had sex with the minor on several occasions including at her home and inside her car while it was parked near an elementary school. Jacoby didn’t face jail time but went free after posting $100,000 bail.
Amy McElhenney was an old high school teacher and former Miss Texas contestant turned Spanish teacher. The 25-year old was arrested for allegedly having sexual relations with an 18-year old student. Although in this case, the student was of the age of consent, Texas law currently forbidding teachers to have relationships with students no matter what their age. Anyone who violates it should face a second-degree felony and up to 20 years in prison. While McElheney charged with unlawful conduct didn’t face jail time, she did lose her credentials as a teacher.
Debra Lafave was a popular young English teacher at a Tampa-area middle school when she was charged with two felonies after having improper sexual relations with a 14-year old student in June 2004. Because the mother of the victim didn’t want her son to go through a trial Lafave didn’t serve any jail time. This is one of female teacher sex scandals that drew international attention. After divorcing her ex-husband the following year, Lafave is now happily married to the restaurant owner and a mother of twins.
24-year-old Respess and 32-year-old Dufresne pleaded guilty in 2015 to having sex multiple times with a 16-year old student in a Louisiana High School. This pair of female teachers had sexual trysts with the high school football player after football practice around 40 times, including threesome in Honda Pilot and home of Respess. The trio lasted over a year then the female teachers were caught when the student started bragging about his escapades.
Jessica Bonnet Acker was a 23-year old teacher at Bryant High School in Cottondale, Alabama when she was charged with sexual relations with a student under the age of 19. The female teacher had relations with the student just months after tying the knot with another man. After resigning from her teaching position she was placed in Tuscaloosa County Jail, where her bond was set at $5,000.
Kinsley Wentzky has been arrested after being accused of having sex with two 17-year old students in her home on Fernwood Road in Forest Acres. She was a happily married mother of two young children and honors English teacher at Dreher High school in South Carolina. After the alleged affair with the second student came to light she initially was faced 5 years in prison but the sentence was suspended and reduced to just probation.
Carrie McCandless was a former cheerleading coach at Brighton Charter High School. She was arrested following her conviction for having sex with an underage male student during a sleepover class camp trip to Estes Park, Colorado. The 17-year-old student and the female teacher drank alcohol, kissed and fondled one another. In November, after the inappropriate relationship revealed McCandless was fired from her teaching job and was sentenced to 45 days in prison.
28-year-old Heather Daughdrill was arrested for having sexual relations with a 13-year old boy who she met at the Bible camp where she works as a teacher. Through sexually explicit text messages between Daughdrill and the student, police found that she would pick the boy up from school without the parent’s consent then subject him to sexual encounters. Daughdrill is now facing charges of sexual battery, carnal knowledge of a juvenile, kidnapping, indecent behavior with a juvenile and contributing to delinquency.
Eppie Sprung Dawson was just four years into her career as an English teacher at St. Joseph’s College, when she was caught half-naked (from the waist down) in a parked car with a 17-year-old. Though the 28-year-old escaped a jail term, she lost her job and slapped with a six-month community payback order.
Lindsay Massaro,27, pleaded guilty to sexual relations with a person under 18 while she was an elementary school teacher in Sussex County. The female teacher accused of having sexual activities with a 15-year old boy in her car and bedroom. She was behind the bars after the victim’s father reported her to the authorities.
27-year old Pamela Rogers Turner was an elementary school teacher in McMinnville, Tennessee when she was pleaded guilty for having a sexual relationship with a 13-year old student. After 9 months in prison for the statutory rape, she got out and was arrested again for committing the same crime and this time, she was sentenced to serve the remaining seven years in state prison.
Elizabeth Scroggs was a high school teacher in Chattanooga, Northwest Georgia. She was the age of 32 when she was charged with felony sexual assault for having a sexual relationship with an 18-year old.
27-year old Deanna Higgins – a Science teacher at Spring High School has been charged with improper relations and sexual assault of a 16-year old student after the police found her underwear in the teenager’s truck.
Husband and wife Christian school teachers in Turlock Amy and Justin Northcutt were arrested for trying to seduce a minor. The couple sent sexually explicit pictures and text to a 16-year-old female student via cell phone. They two were trying to arrange a threesome with the teen. Though there were no physical acts ever occurred between the couple and the teen, both will have to register as sex offenders and attend sex offender counseling. They each also got three years of felony probation.
Lisa Glide a drama teacher at Old Bridge High School pleaded guilty to having a four-month sexual relationship with one of her students. She sentenced to 5 years probation and she also agreed to give up her teaching certificate. The student who was 17 at the time protested the arrest and admitted he was the initiator of the relationship and not Glide.
Michelle Preston was a teacher and cheerleading coach at Shawnee Missions West High School. She was fired when her naked pictures circulated among students. It is known that the pictures were from three male students who she contacted through Facebook for sexual relations. Preston admitted to having sex with at least two of her students. Preston may not serve any prison time. Instead, she placed on probation and have to register as a sex offender.
25-year old Rebekah Todd served 6 months in jail for sleeping with a 17-year old male student while attending an off-campus high school graduation party.
21-year old substitute teacher Teresa Engelbach was arrested for having over a 2-month sexual relations with a 14-year old student after the student reported their affair to another teacher.
28-year old Haeli Wey was a high school math teacher in Texas when she was arrested for having sexual relations with 17-year old students during a ‘Christian training program.’ Although the students were 17, Texas prohibits any relationships between student and teacher.

Missouri substitute teacher was arrested June 25, 2017, and charged for alleged sexual contact with one of her 17-year-old male students.
New Jersey substitute teacher was arrested June 22, 2017, and charged with aggravated sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a child, in addition to allegedly sending the young male explicit text messages online. 
The Kentucky teacher appeared in court June 19, 2017, to enter a not guilty plea to two charges of sexually assaulting an underage male student while working as a teacher at two different schools. 
North Carolina math teacher is charged with three counts of sexual activity with three male students and one count of indecent liberties with a minor. McAuliffe was due back in court for the probable cause hearing on June 29, 2017.

Texas teacher who admitted to having sex repeatedly with her 13-year-old male student and got pregnant with his child was sentenced in February 2017 to 10 years in prison.

Pennsylvania math teacher and married mother of three children pleaded guilty to having sex with a 17-year-old male student. She was sentenced in April 2015 to 30 days in jail.

Ohio school guidance counselor admitted to having consenual sex with an 18-year-old male student and was sentenced in January 2015 to two years in prison. 
Michelle Louise Ghirelli, and Melody Suzanne Lippert (see below), both high school teachers in California, were convicted and in June 2015 was sentenced to three months jail time and three years probation for unlawful sexual intercourse with an underage male student during an alcohol- and drug-fueled camping trip at San Clemente State Beach.

She was sentenced to 180 days in jail and three years probation.
Florida science teacher pleaded guilty to two felony counts of lewd or lascivious battery against an underage male. In March 2015 Khan was sentenced to two years of community control and to be on sex offender probation for 10 years.
Utah teacher and mother of two convicted of having sex with three male students was sentenced in July 2015 to serve up to 30 years in prison.
Texas computer technology teacher who had multiple sexual encounters with several male students was sentenced in September 2013 to four years’ probation after pleading guilty to two counts of an improper relationship between an educator and a student. She is now married to one of her victims. 
Former Pennsylvania teacher who resigned from her job at a Christian school, then had a months-long sexual relationship with a 15-year-old former male student, was sentenced in August 2013 to 11-and-a-half to 23 months in prison on a felony charge of corruption of minors. In addition to jail time, she received three years’ probation. 
Vermont Spanish teacher pleaded guilty in September 2013 on four misdemeanor counts of sexual exploitation for her behavior with an underage male. As part of a plea deal with prosecutors, Yaranga received a suspended sentence of one to four years, avoiding jail time as long as she obeys the terms of her four-year probation, which includes sex offender therapy and no intentional contact with male minors. She will also have to register as a sex offender for 14 years.
North Carolina dance teacher formed a friendship with a female student and it later evolved into a sexual relationship. White pleaded guilty in September 2016 to a sex act with a student, two counts of indecent liberties with student, indecent liberties with a child and second-degree kidnapping. She was sentenced to 45 months to 123 months in prison and ordered to register as a sex offender. 
Florida teacher pleaded guilty in 2005 to two counts of lewd and lascivious battery for having sex with a 14-year old boy. As part of the deal, Lafave was sentenced to three years house arrest and seven years' probation. 
Tennessee teacher pleaded no contest in August 2005 to having sex with one of her students, a 13-year-old boy, and was sentenced to nine months in jail.

English teacher was sentenced in November 2005 to six months after agreeing to a deal in which she pleaded guilty to one count of rape for sex with a 16-year-old male student.
Letourneau pleaded guilty to two counts of second-degree child rape against a 12-year-old male. She became pregnant and gave birth that year. Letourneau was released in 1998, but was again caught having sex with the boy. She was impregnated again, and this time was sentenced to more than seven years in prison for violating her probation. She was released from prison in 2004, and married the youth in 2005. Earlier this year, he filed for divorce.
